Fun note - it looks like Mickey Moniak (of the Phillies, playing against the Yankees today) is wearing a faux-turtleneck tee (like Lenny Dykstra, et al, used to wear) and it looks like this one is straight from the 90s, too; Phillies wordmark at the center neck, blue batterman (without the rectangular logo outline) at left neck. Wish I had a picture. From a 1997 card:

For Fresno State, the drop shadow on the letters is a different style than on the numbers. Fix that and it would look really good.

Just for clarity, Patriots are wearing throwbacks in 2022, as they were already in the style guide. Eagles, Seahawks, Buccaneers are the only teams so far to say throwbacks in 2023

It's for next year, but they probably unveiled it now to go with the Nats' unveiling, plus it's currently cherry blossom season in DC.

Yeah my only gripe is the WSH. Nobody really refers to that...it's just something you see on scorebugs. DC would have been better. The pink, gray and the blossoms are fantastic

I think there will be more than six new CC unis this year. There were 7 last year, and all 30 are expected to be released by end of 2023…7/6/17 seems like a weird distribution schedule.

Is it really stolen if the Packers gave permission to Georgia and Grambling to use the logo?

The operations cost for one game at an arena/stadium is far greater than operation costs for one night at the museum. On a regular day, MoMa has corporate partners and still charges for tickets. Having corporate partners and then charging tickets for people to have the privilege of being entertained is no different than a theme park.

You rub the sunscreen (lotion or spray) into the skin and it's far less goopy.

Seems like an easy fix for people with shaved heads is to wear sunscreen. I remember seeing Taijuan Walker on Twitter say he wanted mesh caps because they were so much cooler than nearly anything else on hot days.

I wish TCU would bring back a silver helmet (as an alt if not the primary). I always thought these were a nice look (albeit simple) but if they added the frog skin helmet stripe to this, it could look pretty cool.

The V-star would be better if the star's stroke was the same width throughout. A lot of newer sports-related logos seem to be incorporating gradients...seems to be trending...

Color Rush unis were all released the same day I think. But agreed about waiting for the retail part to come in.

Was hoping the O's would bring back the early 90s unis for a throwback weekend, like they did in 2017, but it's not on the promotion schedule.

Which teams are "scraping the bottom of the historical barrel"? It's pretty easy (for me, just brainstorming) with three or four more RR designs for nearly every team (with Vegas and Seattle being the toughest).

It does look pretty cool, found using a google search: Other viable options: Vintage white version of the 2010 WC jersey (but with red and black center stripes) White version of the 1992 75th throwback White (or red) version of the current black alternate (but with red and black stripes)

Not that it matters a whole lot, but the Rockies’ NE mark on the hat is silver, and I’m guessing the same for the M’s. Using the team color instead of boring white is a good choice for contrast.

I mean...it's weird you put Classics in a RR list....so yeah...that is a bit of a problem with your guesses. And you think the Blackhawks are just going to switch the stripe colors of the home jersey? Maybe, but probably not.

None of the RRs in the first edition were straight throwbacks so I’d assume that will be the same next year. Straight throwbacks are Classics.

The Blues wore their Winter Classic unis against Nashville yesterday, and that vintage white color kinda looks like Bone in bright arena lighting.

Monday-morninging Haskins’ talent isn’t a good look. Wishing he’d suffer a devastating injury is a worse look. He was given 7 after he was selected as a 1st round pick. Joe was ok with it.
