  1. Las Vegas is still USC territory, plus UNLV will have difficulty in getting support from Stanford, Cal, and even USC academically. Like it (or aware of it) or not, USC is a school with academic chops and gets research money. Iowa State is possibly the least desired athletic program from a public university within the current BCS conferences. As a whole, only the private schools like Vandy, Duke, and Wake are at or near the same level. UNLV is actually one of the leading theatre and arts schools in the nation. Plus, the only other realistic option to have a 16th team would be UNR, and I think they would rather have the LV tv market. It's only USC territory right now because UNLV is not part of the same conference. Trust me, if UNLV joined the Pac-12, their football program would explode (in a good way). I think the Pac12/Pac16 would rather have San Diego State than UNLV.
  2. As much as I hate to say it, Kansas State is probably either 1b or 1c on that list as well. Though they do have Kansas City close by, it's still a rural-based school.
  3. If you're scenario is correct (two new western teams) the answer would have to be Auburn. Auburn is only like 40 minutes from Georgia border. Auburn could still play Bama in Iron Bowl, plus it has the intrigue of a Bama/Auburn SEC Championship.
  4. Florida State and Texas A&M going to the SEC is getting more and more steam, according to Tomahawk Nation and Warchant.
  5. You consistently have some of the coolest signatures on the board. Seriously. Get in the t-shirt business.

  6. I'm with you on that one. I think the orange ones look too dated. I don't hate the orange helmets, but the script is VERY dated. I haven't written in cursive since third grade. So UCLA's and Cal's helmets are just as bad? And it's Florida's problem that you haven't written in cursive since third grade?
  7. Yeah the Pats is the biggest fake of them all. Someone mentioned about the tail on the Twins script, but the shirt looks folded over on that part, so might wanna re-examine that. Huh.. well shows you what I know. The Twins one is fake. And, apparently the Patriots one is too, but I was never sure; the fact that it had actual patches that were sewn on and not a graphic that was actually "embroidered" onto the jersey made me optimistic (see what happens when you go shopping at yard sales). The Indians is authentic. Thanks for playing... It was the faded and bubbled up 12 that gave it away on the Brady jersey. Plus the thick stitching on it, and Ive seen that bad sleeve logo many a times. I figured it out from the silver/navy mix up on the collar. And the fact that the Indians jersey was from the Russell days helped identify it as legit. Just for clarification - what do you mean by "silver/navy mix up on the collar"?
