YES. i understand why they went away from this look, but i still like it ten time better than their current getup You guys are in the majority. The navy and copper make Edmonton's "throwbacks" look dated, boring and meek.

And there's a good reason for that -- Nobody wants any of those podunk schools!! But I'm sure the Big East will come calling after another six of their schools get picked off by the Big Ten and ACC.

If I'm the Pac-12 and I wanted to expand, it HAS to be Texas and Oklahoma. If they're going to water-things-up by adding Boise and San Diego State, they might as well take a hard look at UNLV, Fresno and UNM. And while I'm on the topic of Big XII schools -- Are they just waiting around for their 10 remaining teams to get picked off by other conferences? Sure fells like it.

To me, Deion had such a memorable year with the 49ers that this looks just as "right" here as he does as a Falcon or Cowboy. Which is strange because Deion was a 49er for all of four months.

I had to look it up; Alain Cote already had 19 at the time. Plus, Lindros wanted nothing to do with the organization, so I doubt he would have had a change of heart if his number was given up for him. I was thinking Sakic may have given up the number to help coax Lindros into playing for the 'Diques during his holdout.

Please tell me Super Joe didn't give up 88 for that pu$$y Lindros...
