I think the Lions update from a decade ago is a good touch. Completely keeps with tradition while modernizing it just a tad. It's a lot like the 49ers when they added the extra oval in the mid-90s. It's not a wild alteration. It just works.

Really want to get back to Houston and why folks would throw a fit if they rocked an Oilers color scheme. Just saying: If Cleveland's expansion team can lend from the previous franchise, then so can Houston.
