Even more so, the 1991-96 uniforms did NOT look like that, and the stripes on the socks changed in the 80's. Not to mention, the helmet logo is from 1991-96, not 1968-90.

I'm happy to see Lock do well. While I'm happy with Wilson, Lock got run out by a fanbase that's full of a bunch of spoiled brats. That drive was impressive.

He never played a down in the regular season. This was the 2005 preseason. He was let go before the regular season, he never even wore the white uniform. How many people know that Andre Reed did almost the exact same thing for the Broncos in 2000? He wore #15 and ended up signing with the Redskins after Denver let him go.

Is that true? I can't seem to find any pictures of it and NHLUniforms doesn't have anything that claims they did. It's partially true. Through a search on Getty, it appears they wore black helmets with their white jerseys for the preseason, and not during the regular season. That does in fact make the previous photo I posted quite rare, since he's wearing a white jersey with the white helmet AND the captains patch.

Him wearing the C is a fantastic find. Sakic out with long-term injury? It's one of only two images I was able to find of him in an Avs jersey, and from the site it came from, it says it was a pre-season game and the C was worn by him for the 'inaugural' season in Colorado for the pre-season only.

The only other way the ravens played the oilers is if it was in 1996 (the ravens first year) when they were still in Houston. But I don't think that happened The Oilers were in Tennessee in 1997 & 1998. To add to that, both the Oilers and Ravens were in the AFC Central. They played one another twice each of those two seasons. They also played each other twice in 1996 in the Oilers last season in Houston.

Didn't Forsberg get his start with MoDo, his hometown team? And if I recall, he played for MoDo during the lockout. How is it the wrong uniform? Unless you think he looks wrong in anything but an Avs jersey. It's not the team, it's how he looks in the uniform, which is very odd... I didn't include the Flyers when he actually played for them, just after he was drafted.
