  1. OJ and Casey Anthony were found innocent. Would any sane person argue they didn't do the crimes for which they were accused?

Also, rape isn't even what he was "alleged" to have done. It's funny how you put alleged in quotes for something that didn't even have the evidence to go to criminal trial.

It was inaccurate, but it was still a sex crime accusation. When it's enough accusers gathering their stories, it tends to project a far more guilty look than only a few accusers.

There's a couple of people in Nashville who found that out the hard way last season. (Smart people saw it coming after the 2021 post-season, during which the Snatit were about the paper-tigerest No.1 overall-seed team to ever paper tiger.)

Anybody who saw Ryan Tannehill in Miami would be able to tell you that he was never going to be the guy to get you over the hump.

Maybe Mariota could've gotten them over the hump if his development wasn't utterly botched by a steady stream of donkey-brained OC's.

I just kinda feel like we’re getting diminishing returns from this team. That’s usually not a great sign.

That’s my read on it too. They peaked at the AFC Title game and that’s as far as they’ll get. Losing Daboll was more troublesome than initially thought, but that’s one symptom of a larger “bad vibe.”

You could just consider having James Franklin as your (apparently) forever coach to be a pretty significant punishment.

…and being a participant in the 9 overtime game.

Yep. Because equating Penn State with anything related to restoring right and justice is galaxy brain-level logic.

Penn State football's continued existence is a bigger black mark against the NCAA than any cheating.

So where exactly is the punishment?

He can’t bask in the team’s ill-gotten glory and he will eventually lose god-king status once he gets hired by an NFL team.

Watch him rabies it up on the Bucs or Panthers’ sideline next year.

You’d have a point if Lebron didn’t come back and win in those uniforms

He did, but how much of that winning was in the white and burgundy jerseys the set came with and not in the myriad of alternates introduced when he came back?

If the Sharks just updated the original crest in the same style that they updated the original shoulder logo for the current uniforms, they'd be cooking with gas:

The shoulder fin logos are the only good logos the Sharks have ever had. Put them on the chest and you’d have something.

  10. It also has the unfortunate context of being adopted the season after Tom Brady left. They’ll always be the “regression to the mean” set, tainted by their association with the team falling apart.

This is the same issue as the Cavs’ early 2010s uniform set, after Lebron left for the first time. It looked good, but it was tainted by that association with the “austerity” years in between Lebron’s two tenures.

We would've been in a much better spot just keeping Cam all along and keeping all the picks and cap space we've wasted.

Thank you for clarifying about the Panthers’ QB situation and how much of a mistake it was to pick Young over far better talent.

Keeping Cam Newton, even after his skills had plummeted, would’ve been better than the QB cavalcade since Richardson sold.
