  1. Whether he called him dirty or not he's still essentially faulting him for what was a fluke occurrence. Higgins probably already feels like :censored: for something that wasn't even his fault. Eff Bart Scott.
  2. I feel the same way. He's never coached any team I have any connection to but this one hurts. I doubt he actually did anything wrong with Adam James and I'm glad Craig James' life/career has been adversely affected by the CJK5H thing.
  3. Nice sentiment from Lane. "I'm grateful to be apart of his final win, hug him and watch him walk off like the winner that he is."
  4. Updates on Mike Leach are not positive. He had a massive heart attack and was airlifted to the University of Mississippi medical center in Jackson, MS. Hard to parse what is and isn't speculation but it doesn't sound good. Very sad. Never mind his contributions to how the sport of football is played on the field, he made the sport more colorful and fun and he will be missed.
  5. Raiders got screwed when the refs decided holding Maxx Brown every single play wasn't a penalty anymore but genuinely impressive by Baker.
  6. https://www.insider.com/mlb-used-two-balls-again-this-year-and-evidence-points-to-a-third-2022-12 According to this article, MLB was using more hitter-friendly balls for Yankees games during Judges record chase.
  7. Regarding the pass interference... he definitely hooked the WRs right arm. And even if it was a blown call, the play before it should've been DPI. But even Osweiler, who acted like it was the worst call ever, had to eventually concede that he grabbed the arm when it was clear as day on the replay.
  8. The only noteworthy things about Levis are that he puts mayonnaise in his coffee and eats his bananas peel-and-all.
  9. Draft analysts saying he's going to be a high pick befuddles everyone that's ever watched the kid play. I guess it's one of those things where he has the measurables, he's fairly athletic, and has a big arm so they figure they can teach the rest but I don't know.
  10. Don't really agree with that, tbh. Two of their TD's came off of drives where Florida made third down stops and extended the drives with penalties. A third came when Florida had to put a guy back who hasn't returned punts all year and he muffed a punt he shouldn't have even tried to play. And we just aren't good enough to win games where we shoot ourselves in the foot repeatedly. Especially with our already weak WR room down Pearsall and Henderson. My big concern is why the f*** doesn't Richardson run the ball? I expected inconsistent passing from him this year but I thought he would at least be a willing runner. And while he's played fairly well, still hard not to be a bit disappointed with him this year. Wasn't really expecting to beat FSU next week but now without Ventrell for one half (that targeting rule sucks) -- don't even think we'll keep it particularly close.
  11. I think Jimbo's going to get fired. It's insane to even think that when his buyout is, like, $90m... but it's gotten so ugly in College Station.
  12. The Will Levis hype has always been baffling. I've never seen anything from him that suggests he is actually any good. Just has good measurables, I guess. Even last year, so much of his production came off of screen passes to Wan'Dale Robinson. I don't know that it'll happen, but watching that game really felt like the type of game that's going to be followed up by an announcement in a few weeks that Stoops is leaving. Just the lifeless performance from the team, Stoops seemed pretty subdued on the sideline. After that beef he had with Coach Cal, he's probably pretty close to the ceiling with Kentucky.
  13. I imagine if the Eagles lose their OC, they would promote their QB coach, Brian Johnson, who will likely otherwise get poached as an OC elsewhere.
  14. And that reason is that Alabama's two best WRs tore their ACLs in the postseason and their replacements were garbage in the NCG. Alabama runs away with that game with Williams and Metchie. Regarding the game today -- I will say this is the worst Alabama team I can remember. Enjoy it while it lasts because they're bringing in, like, ten five-stars this cycle. Still shocking how badly they mismanaged the clock at the end before their FG attempt.
  15. Not sure about KC or Atlanta but at Florida State, the band initiates it. And they do it far more often than the Braves or Chiefs.
  16. This is such a terrible way to look at it. They were losing by six, they made a play they needed to put themselves in a position to have a chance to win but get absolutely screwed by one of the worst calls I've ever seen -- the type of call that genuinely makes you question the integrity of the sport -- and it's "welp, was a bad call but ya' shouldn't have been losing"? Hell no.
  17. This is why I stay up 'til all hours of the night on Saturdays watching Pac 12 after dark.
  18. Maybe Harsin? But I don't know that any do. Jeff Scott's a good bet for any week from here on out, though. But they actually looked competent against Cincy this week.
  19. Better record than Oklahoma seems likely. They're down bad. You would expect their defense to be competent with BV but... nope.
