  1. The Wild and Flames both have alternates that include properly capitalized scripts, and Anaheim's last Mighty Ducks alternate had one as well. Tampa Bay's pre-Edge primary logos both used lower case letters as well, as does Washington's current primary.
  2. Platini is worse than Blatter. He opposes the use of goal-line technology.
  3. That's completely incorrect, actually. The team's official name is Club de Hockey Canadien.
  4. Get rid of the pinstripes and that jersey improves tenfold. Basically, it's the ideal option if the Yankees ever adopted an alt.
  5. Getting rid of the side panels and adding a hem stripe would go a long way towards improving that Thrashers jersey.
  6. Somehow, that jersey manages to be more 90s than the Islanders Fisherman jersey.
  7. I don't know, but they should hope not since "I'm lazy and a cheapskate" isn't a valid defense.
  8. I highly doubt Canada will host so soon after hosting the Women's World Cup next year. I honestly think that the US hosting the men's and women's Cups five years apart in the 90s was an abberation.
  9. Dallas' home uniforms have the same striping pattern as the Rangers', not the Hawks'.
  10. I like the white helmets paired with the blue jerseys for the US.
  11. Yeah, adding the classic logo and getting rid of the front number goes a long way towards improving those. Still not as good as the originals, though. The originals are the best, while the current jerseys are second and I have a hard time deciding which is worse between the Goat Head and Buffaslug.
  12. The Buffaslug itself is awful but the uniforms were somewhat decent. They're the opposite of the current third, which has the classic logo but a :censored: uniform.
  13. I dunno about this one. This reminds me of those commercials that basically say that smoking pot is supporting terrorism. Sure, that's maybe true in a very small amount of cases, but it's still an enormous stretch. Except it is true in a lot of cases. The Chinese Triads are heavily involved in apparel counterfeiting. I'm sure that includes sports jerseys.
  14. And let's not forget that many counterfeiting rings are run either directly or indirectly by overseas organized crime. So in essence, by buying a fake jersey, not only are you screwing over the legitimate organizations, you might be funding some Triad gangsters instead.
  15. There are too few facepalm images floating around on the internet to describe how I feel about this post. "Oh, I'm sorry about hitting your car. Pushing you out of the way was easier than waiting behind you for the light to turn green!"
  16. They were usable before they were uploaded, but since the :censored:s at Photobucket have put full-size images behind a paywall, the quality of the uploaded images goes out the window.
  17. And that's exactly why everyone with an ounce of sense believes that that jersey should only be, if it's ever brought back, an alternate. And as a Canadiens fan, I feel the same way. The numbers would have to be white on the back, and red on the arms. It makes no sense, but that's the only way they could be legible and without clutter. Hence, it's the reason why it could never work. They could always do a fauxback look and put the sleeve numbers inside the stripe. It's not like there's no precedent for that in Habs history.
