  1. The on site team store has sold them online at https://thebayrepublic.com/collections/rays for a few years now, but starting in 2023 it’s an official alternate jersey so we may see them more accessible soon.
  2. You can also see the players facemask blurred in the background, meaning this is the players back left shoulder.
  3. https://www.si.com/college/2022/04/14/billy-napier-says-florida-will-wear-black-jerseys-likely-by-2023 Article from SI about a year ago.
  4. I'm very interested to see how this pitch clock comes into play in the duration of Yankees-Red Sox games. Judging what we've seen in less than a week, it might be safe to say the 4 hour marathons are over.
  5. Same ownership, so that checks out. Wouldn't be a bad direction to follow.
  6. Panthers jerseys are still on discount on Fanatics, so much like Arizona you might want to prepare for some modifications.
  7. It’s not official but the site linked below tracks what jersey was worn what days, so you can see if a team has a pattern they may have followed for home games. https://www.uniformlineup.com/
  8. You're 100% right. TCU has purple pinstripes and accent with other purple gear and logos and it looks great.
  9. I wouldnt count on it. I's an anniversary year for the Marlins. It's possible they're used as an alternate, but I wouldn't count full time just yet.
  10. Most of them wear pullovers or jackets anyways....might as well release the numbers.
  11. Ah true, I forgot the number rules changes in 2021 or 2022.
  12. Because 5 was claimed by Ryan Finley thru the 2020 season per this history. https://aws.pro-football-reference.com/players/uniform.cgi?team=cin&number=5 The league also forces players to buy the existing inventory of their old number if the player wanted to change immediately. Dalvin Cook found this out a few years ago when he wanted to switch from 33 to 4. It says i the below article, that "Cook learned that if he waited a year, he'd be able to make the switch at no cost. So that's what he did; the Vikings' star running back spent a fifth and final NFL season with 33 on his jersey in 2021." https://www.si.com/nfl/vikings/news/vikings-dalvin-cook-switches-no-4-jersey-number-family#:~:text=But then he found out,"That's important nowadays."
  13. I know the Buccaneers usually do for non Bucs events. It might be a dual purpose closing just based on timing.
  14. I believe under pre 2023 rules, the throwback could be worn no more than 5 times as this is what the Rays have done with the Devil Rays throwbacks. Moving forward from 2023 onward, the Devil Rays throwback is an official alternate on the books and will be worn Opening Day and every Friday home game (14 games in 2023)
  15. I wouldn't get your hopes up. With now allowing 0 and the kicker/punter rule, its essentially no different than the college football rules. It's really a very minor change to the league. It's not like they added a 12th eligible player or something odd like that.
  16. I'm a South Florida fan, and the chrome helmet DOES look bad (specifically the gold one, but the lime green one too. Fans don't like them either. Thankfully the gold chrome seems to be out of the rotation as of last season
  17. The Rays may not have said it officially, but the local beat writer for the team reported it last year when talk of dropping the gray jersey started.
  18. Not exactly, the full color version of the hat has silver letters All of the team color hats seem to be the primary jersey color, outside of Baltimore (Ravens hat is black). Might be a clue that the Panthers will have a blue home jersey...
  19. Just speculation now since the Panthers jerseys are discounted on Fanatics like the Cardinals.
  20. We also found out the 2023 City Connect release dates. Assuming the rest of the remaining teams without a City Connect will be in 2024.
  21. Have the A's worn the dark green jersey in the past few years? I seem to recall only seeing the kelly green being worn lately.
  22. USA pulling out the blue jersey tonight. Has Japan worn anything but the white pinstripes this year?
  23. Lets get Arizona's house in order before we start adding more teams to the NHL. Honestly, while it wouldnt surprise me if the NHL expands past 32, I think the NBA expands first, and maybe even MLB.
  24. I also checked all teams jerseys on Fanatics, and as of today Carolina's jerseys are discounted at around the same discount too... hmmmmmm
  25. Normally I'd chalk this up to Fanatics and their ever rotating discounts codes, but today is just a fee shipping offer and all of them look to be about 25% off for now. https://www.fanatics.com/nfl/arizona-cardinals/jerseys/o-4661+t-58598953+d-1911345+z-8-3643743552?pageSize=72&sortOption=NewestArrivals I checked a few other teams that we know aren't changing and the discounts aren't there. Something is definitely afoot....
