It's not unprecedented. The Lightning released their now current logo midseason in the 2010-11 season, and even painted the logo at center ice for the rest of the season.

Interesting to see OT Sports manufacturing the replicas. Curious to see who the manufacturers are for the on field unis.

To be fair, I don't believe we have seen the full merch release for the WBC. I would have to think it will be soon.

Probably just the lighting. We've seen the LVI and LVII official files, and the LVIII art is a pull from photos. I suspect it will be darkened slightly.

If they're going to go with a template look, the model from LVI-present is the best way they've done it so far. Unfortunately this means that starting with LXI we'll probably get some new ugly style.

4" x 4" is the limited size by MLB, and im sure some players sleeve size make them look larger or smaller depending on the sleeve.

US Flag code dictates it, so it's likely the other countries don't have that restriction.

This would seem to make it clear that Tom Brady is really done and not coming back to play in 2023.

I was actually curious is Fiserv could host arena football since so many NBA arena's are going basketball centric. I found this pic with ice and I suppose its doable.

Then let the full 53 man roster dress for every game. To me it's odd that while all teams have a 53 man active roster, only 47-48 are truly active on a gameday roster.

Sounds like the USFL is following the PLL's schedule format. Not a bad idea if you ask me. it's unconventional, but the whole league is based on that.

Kevin Weekes reports this. I know an outdoor game in Florida has been investigated for feasibility, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out. Not surprising it may involve the Panthers. That TB-FLA rivalry is definitely on the upswing.

The 2022 season was the 5th year based on what the mothership says.

Unfortunately this is likely not a possibiliy for most companies, as branding rules for company logos exist. Usualy colors cannot be modified from a businesses primary colors, unless its adjusted to black and white.
