  1. Or a triangle is a traditional jersey crest shape ie. the penguins.
  2. So he can show off more of his extra long shirt
  3. Last I checked UCLA wasn’t in Boston…
  4. So a tournament for 500k? Don’t most of the players make that in like 2 games. Why would any of them care about this?
  5. What is “MAC” suppose to mean?
  6. Not as impressive as you are making it sound. If it was H pattern shifter sure but these are sequential shifters so it’s just pulling and throwing. Also Jimmie is well past his prime, his last 2-3 years full time are evident of that, add in 2 more seasons racing in other series isn’t helping.
  7. And he has had 15+ years of racing on ovals since joining Indy/cart. We aren’t talking about him though, we are talking about SVG who would need to learn how to race on ovals after 20+ years racing down under. Marcos Ambrose wasn’t able to win on ovals, neither could Juan Pablo Montoya, or Sam Hornish Jr. Only person who’s come to nascar and been able win on an oval is Mario Andretti but even that was at Daytona and not a real test of skill that other ovals are.
  8. Maybe for the NFL but the college game had been going downhill for easily a decade before this game
  9. Most? He has raced absolutely 0 races on an oval. It’s drastically different then winning a street course where everyone else on the track has never raced on anything like it.
  10. I doubt the fraternity would want their crest flipped to make a hockey crest. Also the mighty duck logo we know today didn’t come until the next movie/pro team existing.
  11. Apparently it because they are so fat that the stomach doesn’t have the room to expand like the regular guys.
  12. They are having regular Nathan’s hotdogs who sponsor the event. Good for him that he found what he’s the best at but I don’t see why anyone cares. It’s dumb like other sports you’d find on espn 8 the ocho.
  13. Those 2 aren’t the same at all. They are from the same city, that would be like the New England Revolution wearing arsenal inspired uniforms because a lot of their ancestors came from England.
  14. But what does that have to do with Miami?
  15. What does a Cuban team have to do with the city?
  16. Other than the logo on the cap, and it saying Boston across the chest…..
  17. Are you really trying to compare a guy who has run open wheel his entire career and has been in Indy car almost just as long to a guy that raced their entire career in supercars other than this one race.
  18. They are essentially the flint tropics of the nhl right now
  19. I will say he was the only one that could pass today. He is incredibly talented. Still was a wreck fest
  20. The Red Sox helped the city heal after the bombings with the Boston strong and winning a World Series.
  21. I was able to turn it on and it’s exactly what I expected except I turned it on right when they said “yea we are going to shorten the race by 25 laps which totally :censored:ed Christopher bell and others. Next thing I saw was the whole track get blocked by a 2 car spin. Then the rest has been a parade with the only passing being when a guy inevitably misses a turn and goes into the tire barriers. This race is a farce.
  22. I recorded yesterdays race until it was ultimately postponed. It was just a parade with the only passing being the first couple turns after a restart. Otherwise no one could get a run to make a pass in an actual passing zone. Iracing has shown this would be the result to 3 years now. Why nascar was so hell bent on this when you have a legitimate track where you can actually race on an hour out of the city.
  23. Are you really trying to bring back this tired argument that has been beaten to death on this board more times than I can count?
  24. Because “neuw fanz will think it’s ” and not let’s put these cars on tracks actually designed for them and stop pushing your core fan base away.
