NASCAR really needs to bring the door numbers on the Cup Cars back to their right location again. It looks so dumb to have the numbers almost at the front wheels.

I’m ok with the new number placement especially since sponsors stated learning how to fill that space better. There really is no reason for the numbers to be in the middle other than tradition.

    More like 20.

EV's have been selling like crap and is pretty much a flop. I'll make sure to get a petrol based car before they are forced on everyone (well at least all new cars must be it)

Your right though, EV’s are the push to have every new vehicle be an EV by 2030, but that will get pushed back as it’s seen the demand is bad, and the infrastructure won’t exist yet, and the ones who don’t adopt will hold onto their ICE vehicles as long as they can.

I just feel like the NFL is becoming too predictable. Chiefs win again? Yawn.

Because they are a good team. Jesus Christ. If a good team wins you say it’s too predicable, if a wild card team wins you claim the didn’t deserve it. Make up your mind and just enjoy the game, or atleast allow the rest of us to.

As a general concept I’m in complete support of a college athlete taking control of his future as much as possible.

That being said, Caleb Williams strikes me as a bit of a douche , and I’m not going to be surprised if he’s a bust.

Especially after this year of underperforming he doesn’t deserve to call where he plays. He doesn’t even deserve to be the first qb taken of the draft even without the stuff his people have been saying all year about where he wants to play and wanting ownership honestly.

That shade of red strikes me as too dark for a color-vs-color matchup... sounds about right for a year of NBA that's had its share of unwatchable matchups.

You say that like it hasn’t been an issue since even before Nike took over

I'd say then it should say Mile Hi...but then no IT SHOULDN'T SAY ANYTHING down the leg and just have a stripe.

I agree with you it shouldn’t, the issue is people not knowing what 5280 is or being intentionally oblivious to it.

If you walked up to me on the street and asked me how many feet were in a mile I’d tell you 5280.  But if you randomly showed me a sports uniform that had that number on it, I don’t know that I’d immediately make the connection that that’s how many feet were in a mile, and that team is therefore from a city that’s a mile above sea level and blah blah…

    Because it’s stupid.

But Denver has been called “mile high” forever, they even play at “mile high stadium” for anyone not to get that simple reference is ignorant.

I'm shocked by how many people either don't know or don't associate 5,280' with being a mile.

At this point I’m just assuming it’s a running joke and people can’t be this oblivious.

He doesn't want to go to a place where Quarterbacks die, which is what the Bears are.  The fact that they have never had a 4,000 yard passing season in their 104 years of existence is amazing.

To be fair having QB’s hit 4,000 yards wasn’t an every day occurrence 20 years ago

Sure, yes. But remember, they did start out in Los Angeles for that 5-year stint. So, I am going to go by that. It's different with the NFL Chargers because they only stayed a year there and no one in L.A. wanted them (reasons why they moved to San Diego which was fitting for them big time).

And? They moved to a different city and took that name. You know what happened when they moved back to LA? They became the LA Chargers again. Your argument make absolutely 0 sense.

I wouldn't either, but I'd be equally unsurprised if the Bears decided to move from Fields, trade him for picks to a team like the Falcons, and draft Caleb Williams at #1. I'm not super sure Fields has done quite enough to prove he's more worthy than Caleb in the eyes of the Bears' front office, but after an atrocious start to the year I was impressed with how well he turned things around and ran the Bears' offense. I'm hoping he gets another shot elsewhere if they decide to move on from him. The Bears have a tough choice on their hands at QB. I'm mostly just hoping for the best possible scenario for my Pats here haha, I think their offense would be much better off with an actual star receiver than with a rookie QB like Caleb or Drake with no O-line or receivers to throw to. A generational talent at receiver can do more for a tepid offense with a bad QB than a generational talent QB can with no good wideouts, in my book.

When has a WR ever made a bad QB look good? Now how many below average WR have become pro bowlers from playing with the best QB’s in the league. While a star QB out of college can be hindered by going to a bad team, it’s more the O line being bad getting the QB killed thus killing his confidence that does that. Build a Line that gives the QB enough time to make his reads and find the open man it doesn’t matter who the receivers are.

Here is what I am going to say. They started out in Los Angeles, right? So why call them Anaheim when they were not there that long. They were only there because they had a new stadium out there.

I do not care what you say to me, but in my eyes, they are STILL the Los Angeles Angels in the American League int he MLB.

Ok? They then moved away, changed their name to California angels because they were no longer playing in LA.

If only teams with bad uniforms were aware of said badness and actually felt inclined to change their uniforms as quickly as possible. This is not always the case. It took the Broncos and Cardinals decades to realize they looked like trash every week.

The Titans and Jets at least have popular throwback uniforms that could make them realize how lousy their regular uniforms are, but the Jaguars seem content in their practice uniforms.

They broncos have had a popular throwback look in their color rush uniform and it still took them forever

Yes, but they had already switched to athletic gold at home by that point.

It was still an alternate, they just chose it to be the home uniform for the playoffs. It wasn’t the primary home uniform during the regular season.

The problem with the Angels exist with the Chargers in their debut in 1960 that only stayed one year in Los Angeles before moving to San Diego in 1961.

    Now with the Angels,

I got that from Wiki. But this here is the main problem here!

What is the problem? They play in Anaheim not LA. I do not follow what you are trying to say here.
