CCSLC Update Wars: Episode 2 - The Mods Strike Back™

I don't know what happened in the update (Despite being logged on in 3 devices, I've never had the logout issue), but the pages are loading extremely slow. It took me about 2 mins for the page to load to here, with and without wifi. EDIT: It also took me about 20-25 secs each to post this, and then edit it to say how long it took for the post to upload.

Not only that, I also pronounce the NASL as "nass-el".

On the topic of alternate-history looks, here's a nice one for all of you history lovers (me included) - What if the USA went to war with Canada/England in 1844 over the border of Oregon Country? HISTORY LESSON IN SPOILER (for those who don't know about Oregon Country and the resulting almost-war from it) So, say that James Polk unsecures his place as one of the least-remembered presidents by initiatiating, and winning, that war. This means Vancouver (and basically all of the British Columbia province as well) is now on US soil. This means that all of the Big 4 leagues expand into Vancouver. NFL The NHL does not make any changes, as they already have the Canucks and would add them as normal in 1970. The NBA also just keeps the Grizzlies in Vancouver (due to the Canadian dollar not mattering anymore, as it is a US city); Memphis does not have a NBA team. Here is the alignment: MLB So as you can see, at least 2 of the major leagues will dramatically change, all if one extra war between the US and England.

These... ...are the most overrated uniform set of all time. In fact, I would say that the modern-day version of them are much better. The gaudy, prime 90s giant sun across the front, purple, gradients on the logo, the asymmetrical shorts with "Phoenix" written on them... while the 90s in particular are extremely overrated, this takes the cake in my mind. *ducks*

That is an amazing-looking field right there. So in other words, if this happens the NFL will screw up once again and go for black vs black.

1996 - "Shield" Ravens take on the block-number Steelers. This was the only time these two particular uniforms matched up, as the other time they played Steelers were in black and Ravens were in white (I can't find pictures of that game). The Steelers changed to the italic numbers in 1997 and the Ravens changed to their current look in 1999. (I can't find any better pictures, so this will have to do)

I'm not aiming this at you, but simply everyone - Why oh why does every time a Rays stadium proposal come up people just say "Let's build them a stadium in Montreal!" Honestly, what did Montreal ever really do for the Expos? Sure, they act now like every single person was an Expos fan, but they were having issues in attendance as well. And then people point out the attendance issues for the Rays, they don't take into account that this is a team with a straight out terrible stadium that is located in the middle of nowhere and have had only 3 or 4 winning records in team history. Let's not get too carried away here - when the time comes to expand, Montreal will get their team back. *takes deep breath and prepares to make same rant in around two months or so* (Although if they moved about 90 miles and 2 hours inland, I wouldn't complain)

Now that the color rush uniforms are out, I've come out of my hiding spot for more! I think Color Rush in general isn't that bad, as long as they're just one-offs. Jets mono-kelly green looks terrible to me Raiders also look terrible, should have been all-black Jaguars all gold is beautiful (Possibly the most unpopular opinion I've ever said) Other NFL! The Ravens gold pants were pretty bad, but not as bad as many people said they were NBA! Both the Wizards' "stars and stripes" and the Nets' new grey throwback-ish alternates are trash. *Ducks and runs away*

NBA 1: Orlando Magic What do you expect? Until 2015 the Magic was the only hometown team we had, and the Howard era helped a little. NBA 2: Houston Rockets Born in Houston, not many other reasons NFL: Houston Texans Same reason as Rockets: born in Houston, and until Orlando gets a team (aka never), this is my team. MLB 1: Tampa Bay Rays Went to a Rays game a few years ago, and I've supported them ever since. MLB 2: Los Angeles Dodgers Honestly no reason, I just like them. MLB 3: New York Yankees/Cincinatti Reds (tie) My mom likes the Yanks, and my dad likes the Reds. This is nothing more than checking the scores and thinking "Oh, the Reds/Yankees lost again. That's too bad" MLS: Orlando City Season ticket holder since the beginning in 2010, and and they are probably my second favorite team period. NHL: I don't like hockey, but if I had to choose, probably Lightning. MiLB: Brevard County Manatees (Advanced-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers) Same case as the Rays - went to one of their games about a year ago (because Orlando somehow doesn't have a minor league team) and I've followed them ever since.

I knew I should've hid in a corner after posting that... Anyway, about the BiG, it's still an amazing logo, just not as good as their current look (to me.) I've already been to the psychologist, he doesn't know what to do with me lol

1. The ball-in-glove is extremely inferior to the Brewers' current look. 2. The Dbacks current set and colors are the best they've ever had, but I prefer sand over teal 3. A little biased, but the Magic have one of the best uniforms in the NBA. 4. Color Rush isn't that bad. 5. The Blue Jays' look is overrated. 6. Black-volt is actually a pretty good color scheme, if done correctly. 7. Aaaannnnddd... The Jaguars gold Color Rush was the best out of all of them, and they should adopt it as a full-time look (now, if they could fix the helmet, it would look even better)
