Wow. Okay, the more you know. Still seems really wasteful to me and maybe they should recycle parts of the old stadium into the new one where possible but what do I know? I’m not an architect so my opinion about stadiums is clearly completely worthless even if I pay the taxes to fund such things.

The Tennessee Titans are allegedly looking into a new stadium. I don’t know enough or really anything about their current stadium, but what is so wrong with it that it needs an upgrade besides some billionaire demanding welfare?

Michigan is brilliant. Part of me really wished that a few NFL teams would do something similar to their helmets to make them stand out more than the standard logo on both sides but the closest I found is the Eagles current helmet and this fan-submitted Chiefs helmet in 1989.

Aside from the fact that there was a coach at one point named Weeb Ewbank about 40 years before it meant someone who likes Japanese cartoons a little too much, I don’t see Jimmy Johnson or Hank Stram. Pretty sure Stram is in the HoF though.

Donovan McNabb belongs in the HoF before Tony Romo. At least he won more than one playoff game.

And even with the draft pick haul they got, I doubt they win anything with that either. It’s Detroit and I won’t change my mind until they do something they haven’t done in over 30 years: win a playoff game.

And the NHL is completely :censored:ing insane if they allow this to go on. The Coyotes are the NHL’s version of a vegetable being on life support for almost 20 years. It’s time to pull the plug.

So, IIRC, there were a bunch of ads for online companies during a Super Bowl. I don’t know if it was XXXIV or XXXV, but a lot of those companies went bankrupt a year or so afterwards. I’m seeing a lot of ads for crypto exchanges but I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.

Regardless of who she lied about, how the hell are you going to trust the reporting from someone who is a known liar? Especially from someone who lied about someone doing a charity to smear them? But that’s not even my biggest issue with the whole thing. My biggest issue is why would you not hire the beat writer to cover the team for the whole season instead of a “probationary period” of six months?

Wow, they’re actually serious about this. I love the look of the new/old uniforms. Everything else about the Coyotes is a dysfunctional clown show and, again, I would sooner think placing them in a cornfield in Iowa is a viable solution compared to this.

They should make it a flag football game and put it on Nickelodeon. Kids would watch that, right?

Also, the Rams and Kroenke for what they did to St. Louis. I don’t care if they were stealing them back, it’s still stealing because that defense sure as hell didn’t work for OJ Simpson.

They considered that but the Warriors was thought too close to the old name by the Natives they spoke with on it. The name isn’t even one of the worst things about this rebrand, it’s every other thing that’s gone wrong because Nike can apparently only design one decent set out of the six uniforms teams are trotting out because apparently every team has to be :censored:ing Oregon now.

The thing about the NFL? They could hand the average fan an Andy Reid sized bowl of scheisse while they tell them it’s caviar and the average fan will not only buy it but say it’s the best caviar they’ve ever eaten. Buffaslug also broke sales records FWIW.

Well. They should look further into this and see if there are e-mails from Stephen Ross stating this. Otherwise no matter how much I think it is true, it’s ultimately a he said/he said situation. Only way you’ll force change is if there is irrefutable evidence. Knowing how well the average Boomer/Silent Generation person does with technological security, I don’t anticipate this being hard to find.
