I liked The Process when it was called Moneyball. Seems like it wound up having a similar level of success as Moneyball.

The Commies better redistribute their entire draft for the next 5 years to the Chiefs because aside from said “5 Year Plan”, I don’t see any way the Chiefs part with Mahomes. I guess Snyder thought a “Command(ers) Economy” was the way to go?

Yes, he absolutely does. He is also looking forward to his next opponent. They’re a very good football team, very well coached. Even if it’s the Lions. Because he’s fat. I don’t think anything should be off limits when it comes to humor. Especially when it’s someone like Andy Reid who is one of the most powerful men in Kansas City.

Also, Chicago is the graveyard of quarterbacks. I don’t even think Mahomes would’ve succeeded there.

Matt Nagy was the offensive coordinator from 2016-2017 with the latter year having an Alex Smith having one of the best years of his career. I think Nagy is going to be fine as the QB coach, take it from someone who’s paid close attention to this team for at least a couple decades.

Eric Bieniemy is returning as offensive coordinator for a one-year deal. I kind of hope Reid retires after this upcoming year and Bieniemy takes over. Would at least make the wait for him worth it IMO.

Even if they did, it’s a smart use of $400. I can think of far dumber things that other leagues spent money on than that.

Dude is real apparently. Had a career in the NFL and is now a sports talk show host in San Diego. Howard Costello was right about the jockocracy. Lesson learned to disregard anything this guy says if he got tricked into thinking someone impersonated a longtime source giving him bad info.

Seeing all this stuff about how these stadiums from the 90s needing major upgrades/needing to be replaced entirely makes me grateful that we somehow managed to get our stadiums right the first time. Sure, the Royals want a downtown stadium, but polling indicated that it was about as popular as a blue rare steak is to members of PETA.

Yeah, show me the high school where there are 75,000 people. This is St. Louis after all aka the only place where people really care about where you went to high school.

Wow. Okay, the more you know. Still seems really wasteful to me and maybe they should recycle parts of the old stadium into the new one where possible but what do I know? I’m not an architect so my opinion about stadiums is clearly completely worthless even if I pay the taxes to fund such things.

The Tennessee Titans are allegedly looking into a new stadium. I don’t know enough or really anything about their current stadium, but what is so wrong with it that it needs an upgrade besides some billionaire demanding welfare?

Michigan is brilliant. Part of me really wished that a few NFL teams would do something similar to their helmets to make them stand out more than the standard logo on both sides but the closest I found is the Eagles current helmet and this fan-submitted Chiefs helmet in 1989.

Aside from the fact that there was a coach at one point named Weeb Ewbank about 40 years before it meant someone who likes Japanese cartoons a little too much, I don’t see Jimmy Johnson or Hank Stram. Pretty sure Stram is in the HoF though.

Donovan McNabb belongs in the HoF before Tony Romo. At least he won more than one playoff game.

And even with the draft pick haul they got, I doubt they win anything with that either. It’s Detroit and I won’t change my mind until they do something they haven’t done in over 30 years: win a playoff game.

And the NHL is completely :censored:ing insane if they allow this to go on. The Coyotes are the NHL’s version of a vegetable being on life support for almost 20 years. It’s time to pull the plug.

So, IIRC, there were a bunch of ads for online companies during a Super Bowl. I don’t know if it was XXXIV or XXXV, but a lot of those companies went bankrupt a year or so afterwards. I’m seeing a lot of ads for crypto exchanges but I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.
