Who does your friend think the uniform supplier is going to be? Nike? Reebok? Adidas? New Era? I did read somewhere that the team presidents know what the uniforms look like.

That is weird. I would have thought that they would have their uniforms done by now and were waiting for them to be released in time for Black Friday, if not at least by Christmas.

I read somewhere that we should know by Thanksgiving, so within the next week or two. Next Friday they have their Supplemental draft, so we might know their uniforms by then.

That could be bad news and good news for New Mexico State. It may mean that they may have to jump down to FCS if they want the football team to be in a conference again but I am not sure that New Mexico State wants to go down to FCS.

The move to the Southland in Football also means that Tarleton will lose 77-0 to Baylor or Texas A&M in a few years. Not sure if they can do that as an independent. The Southland already has two non-football schools in the University of New Orleans and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

New Mexico State is in the WAC as well and yet they are an Indie FBS, which is weird. How long are they going to be in the WAC? Because eventually I think both them and UT-Rio Grande Valley will join the Southland Conference.

Las Vegas? Of course Las Vegas. They want to be a major league city so bad that they are willing to get MLB, MLS and NBA to go along with NHL and NFL. They were not satisfied with just the Golden Knights, they want it all! This is way too fast.

The move is strange because they have a football team. They are also based out of Stephenville, Texas and there's already a conference in the FCS that features Texas schools that have football programs. That's why I think Tarleton State will eventually end up in the Southland Conference after a few years. It would also give them a 12th football playing school and balance out conference play.

The whole Tarleton State in the WAC is going to be a mess. They will eventually join the Southland Conference.

I wonder how long the WAC deal is going to be for Tarleton State? Is it going to be like New Mexico State in which they are WAC in all sports except football? Or are they going to eventually join the Southland Conference in all sports? Or will they join the Southland in Football only?
