  1. Nice to see Las Vegas is continuing it's delusions of grandeur when it comes to pro sports.
  2. Players Association would respond with a stern "no" on that.
  3. That's what I thought. Texas Rangers games are seen in Houston on Bally Sports Southwest (formerly Fox Sports Southwest) and Astros games in DFW via AT&T SportsNet Southwest. Not sure either team wants to split that even further with the A's.
  4. So who has the territorial rights to San Antonio and Austin?
  5. Things could get quite messy if the A's move East to Nashville, New Jersey or the Carolinas, which I kind of want to see happen.
  6. It would be quite interesting to see how the divisions would work in that scenario.
  7. Doesn't Portland have Russell Wilson as part of their ownership group? First of all, that's weird. If the A's move there and Wilson is part owner of the new group that owns the A's, they would still be in the same division as the Mariners, from Seattle, a place where Wilson is super popular. Second, why didn't he purchase a small share in the Mariners?
  8. Vegas already has a minor league stadium that is brand new and opened in 2019, but it's not known if it's expandable to MLB standards.
  9. Is that Las Vegas ballpark expandable to MLB standards?
  10. So do we know how much money the NHL has lost due to the Pandemic? And how much of it was recouped via the new TV deal?
  11. I understand the potential outrage CFL fans have about a merger. A merger means the end of 3 Down, 12 Man, 110 Yards, pre snap motions and the ratio rule. They fear a merger with the XFL will take that all away. They also fear that a merger = no more Grey Cup. If a merger happens, I could see a bunch of fans demanding that the Canadian Government enact the Canadian Football Act into official law, even though that's likely the last thing on the minds of the government of Trudeau Jr. right now.
  12. CFL NFL Crossover in the United States with a merged CFL/XFL.
  13. Competition for eyeballs in the United States, depending on what day and when the game is played and who wants to televise it. If they want an interleague championship game do it on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. This avoids them going head to head against the NCAA or NFL on the Weekends.
  14. Just when would they play the interleague championship game? A lot of the CFL season overlaps the NFL season and the Grey Cup is usually around Week 12 of the NFL season
  15. So what is the status of the Palm Springs AHL team?
  16. They have also brought back the Berlin Thunder and Cologne Centurions.
  17. On the plus side, they won't need to build their own football stadium. They can use the stadium Rio Grande Valley FC is using.
  18. NFL trying to recoup money lost from Pandemic.
  19. I wonder what matters more to Air Force Football? Winning the Mountain West or beating both Army and Navy?
