  1. This reminds me of the 2021 divisional round when the officials blew a play dead, Burrow threw a TD after the whistle, and the refs counted it for some reason
  2. For someone who talks like an authority on football you sure don't seem to know much about its culture
  3. Poetic justice does not make another Alabama playoff run any less boring
  4. That beautiful system that put the #4 team in the natty in 2001 despite them not playing in their conference title game (which was won by the #3 team, who they lost to H2H), resulted in a split national championship in 2003, left out undefeated Auburn in 2004 despite them having a better resume than OU, left out the only undefeated FBS team in 2008, left out TCU in 2010 despite them having gone undefeated two years in a row, was even more hostile toward G5 teams, and gave us an SEC divisional rematch in the title game in 2011.
  5. The committee made it this far without screwing up the playoff selections but decided to :censored: their pants in the final 4-team year
  6. That's a big patch of California that's gonna be pissed they don't get the 49ers game
  7. I don't like San Francisco's white pants "Why on earth are the Rams wearing..." is a question that can be asked every week
  8. No, just like there's no need for the Chiefs to make one or for anyone to expect such a thing
  9. KC's had those rules for a few years now and I don't recall any shots of headdresses or redblackface in Arrowhead since. That kid was at a game in LV, where's the Raiders' statement?
  10. Titans seems generic because their branding and uniforms are directionless. The team has no real identity, so their nickname feels tacked on. Doesn't have anything to do with how many high schools use the moniker
  11. I think they avoid yellow because it's the color of their penalty indicator. I noticed whenever the Chiefs play another red team their background will be grey instead of yellow/white or even black. Looks pretty silly
  12. UGA vs Michigan for the natty is what we need as a country 2016, 2017, 2021, & 2022 all had 1-loss non-champions in over 2-loss champions. A 2-loss non-champion Oregon has no shot
  13. The overall feel of the Cardinals fits Thanksgiving more than teams like the Seahawks, in the same way the Lions did last year despite them dressing like fools
  14. It's not about making a tradition, it's all about aesthetics. Cardinals vs Chiefs feels like a Thanksgiving game in a way that Titans vs Chargers does not
  15. I don't like how the evening game never has the same Thanksgiving vibe as the Cowboys & Lions games. I think the Cardinals are the only team on the west coast that fits and wouldn't mind them hosting every year.
