    Saudis like those one-off WWE shows so much they create their own promotion and start signing talent from the States. WWE brass condemns them, sanctions the wrestlers who work in the new desert company, and says working with the Saudis would mean blood is on their hands. A few months later WWE agrees to merge with the Saudis and the Crown Prince's royal butt wiper is the head of the board of directors

    Interesting little stat. The only Super Bowl that fits this is New England vs Carolina, unless you want to count NE vs NY. It's never happened in the World Series

    I think the gold pants look fine when it's one player, but once you get a shot of the entire team wearing them it looks so ridiculous

    Yeah none of them were concurrent with the hockey team. The last was a minor league baseball team that moved to Denver a dozen years before St. Louis joined the NHL

    A team from Kansas City calling themselves the Blues would be great for the rivalry with St. Louis if any of them cared about soccer

    I project that even if the players wore nascar uniforms and the team names had sponsors in them you'd still get looked at like you're crazy if you talked about how much you hate the advertising
