  1. The black jersey is an improvement with the white script, name and numbers, and also with the thicker sleeve trim, though I don't know why the sleeve patch on the blue alternate wasn't used on the black jersey.
  2. I like the Flyers and the Rangers Jerseys, the nameplate on the back of the Philly jersey is a really cool feature, and the NYR jersey looks great, though it probably is more suited to a Winter Classic than a Stadium Series match. Not feeling the Devils and Islanders, the Isles feel underwhelming and the Devils really need to get reacquainted with hem striping for Jerseys other than their Reverse Retros.
  3. The teeth on the inside of the new Sharks jersey are alternating sizes instead of all one height. It's a great feature that they should add to the home and away instead of the solid orange.
  4. Sometimes simple is just too simple, and in this case it is. The Loon and the winged LA are pretty strong on their own and the main focus of the main logo. In the case of Toronto, the T in the main crest isn't overwhelmingly the focus of the crest, so the TFC isn't on the same level. It's not bad by any means, just underwhelming.
  5. Toronto FC change leaked, with crest consisting of the TFC lettering from their Academy logo inside the shield shape from their current badge, and with a Footyheadlines defination of Subtle graphic on the front.
  6. The Mariners can make some noise and brighten things up without dropping the navy and teal, formost by actually brightening up the Teal and coming up with a new logo set. They don't have to change to one of the colour schemes the teams at Lumen Field currently use now or have used in the past, especially not the pea soup shade the Sounders have (hopefully) just dropped. I like the idea of all of the Seattle teams (except the Sonics when they return) having schemes that share a similar "theme", so to speak, but not using the exact same palette.
  7. Modern flair I can get behind, but they should keep the Teal. The problem is that the shade of teal they generally use for their uniforms is too dark to contrast well with the navy. If they can consistently match the teal across the board to a shade similar to the alternate here, then that should solve the contrast problem. Seattle can definately create something new and modern while keeping the navy and teal, get those colours right and it's a fantastic scheme.
  8. This is a take on the 2012-2018 cap logo that was worn by the Rays as part of their Fauxback uniform, and the only part of that uniform that wasn't a shameless ripoff of the Padres. I modified the sun so that it was less reminiscent of the roof of the Trop as seen from below, gave the logo a double outline in purple and gold, and the main body of the logo now has the TB gradient, with Guava joining Yellow, Green, Cyan and Purple in the gradient. For the other colours, the purple from the original Devil Rays scheme is darkened and joined by Gold, not only representing the sun, but also an approximation of the colour of the Cownose Ray. C+C would be cool!
  9. That's going to happen, just working on a template. As for now, a few takes on two real life logos. First up, the Nats. This is a take on the 2005-10 logo with the bevelling matching the thinner outline in width and a slightly narrower D. The reds are more "cherry" shades, and with a navy closer in colour to that worn by the Homestead Grays.
  10. Use this template from now on please, you get to see the gloves, stockings, pants and bucket, and best of all the taped up hockey stick. I like the jerseys, though they are rather relatively understated and subtle, not words that are generally associated with Vegas.
  11. The Angels had their second Disney era rebrand in 2002, and it's the look (with several small changes and tweaks with manufacturer template) that they have stuck with since. With that rebrand, the team went from the majority blue look they changed to in 1997 to a mostly red one.
  12. That Canucks jersey is like a punch in the eye, which is what something inspired by the Flying V should look like. It's ugly, and thats a good thing.
  13. Those have already been leaked, and they are going with black shorts and red socks.
  14. Looks like a similar story to last year - from the front, these look good, not so much from the back with the one colour back. If the issue was number legibility, then MLS needs to either come up with a new name and number font(s) that work with stripes, hoops, and the Footyheadlines.com defination of subtle and also work with outlines, or allow teams to use their own fonts.
  15. So far it looks like Angels get the award for "Most Improved" with the new template. From the reddit thread, the Brewers have the same shade of cream, the Giants have a slightly different shade than before.
  16. I would get rid of the white outline and turn the blue outline white. Also remove the outline from the halo and use a shade of gold that stands out on white, navy or red.
  17. The Halos uniform on the old Majestic/Nike template had a small gap between the collar trim and the edge of the collar, which didn't match the gap between the cuff trim and the edge of the cuff. On the new template, it looks like the cuff and collar trim match up much better, and the red stripe on both is a tad thicker.
  18. It hasn't been given a chance to be the primary logo, every single Sharks jersey except for the Seals inspired RR has had a version of the Shark biting through a Hockey stick. I guess we are going to find out if that logo is strong enough to be a primary with the new alternate.
  19. The Pilots had different striping - four gold stripes with five much thinner navy ones, as opposed to the equal width seven stripes on the Kraken jersey, so I wouldn't say you've brought over the striping. That said, the jersey looks good though the eye on the main logo should have been kept red as the logo loses something without it. Black would have been the better choice, not really a fan of grey as a base colour for hockey and the old Lightning logo doesn't work that well with the current Lightning logo as the sleeve patches.
  20. I was counting the main logo, so the new third jersey looks to be the first in the teams history without orange. Which is a good thing that San Jose got rid of it everywhere on their home and road uniforms except for the main logo, not so much that they made the back of the inside collar orange for some reason.
  21. It looks like the new Sharks alternate will be the first in the teams history to not feature orange/gold.
  22. I wouldn't call it cosplay if it uses the colours of Boca Juniors. Now that's a So Cal soccer club playing River Plate cosplay.
  23. It's probably a good thing that the Sharks have only thrown back once to that team, as the California/Oakland/San Francisco/Bay Area (Golden) Seals were an absolute :censored:show of the highest order. The team didn't have a single winning season during it's brief existance, had awful attendance, did woeful TV and Radio numbers and were almost always broke. Throwing back once for the RR was probably more than that franchise deserved. The two shades of teal and the massive amount of orange don't work as well as the actual modern Sharks colours, the teal pops with black far more than with a darker shade of teal. Throwing back to the original Sharks jersey would have been a better bet considering how popular it was. Swap the blues around and add shoulder patches and this would be a fine full time look for St Louis.
  24. Many Reebok Edge jerseys did due to how empty the hem was. It felt like the designers just left that space blank.
