  1. It would be really interesting if you could go back in time about three months, say this exact thing to any Lions fan, and step back and watch their heads explode.
  2. I'm not sure which QB from the NFC would crack that AFC top three. Jalen Hurts, if he can do it for more than one year, I guess. But other than that? Rogers and Brady are definitely slipping, Dak is Dak, Stafford is done. There some decent second tier QBs but nobody on par with the AFCs big three. Even Justin Herbert and a healthy Lamar Jackson might be better than anybody in the NFC, other than maybe Hurts (again, if he can keep it going).
  3. Which makes him top three in NFL QBs, in my opinion. Actually, if it were me running the team, I'd try to upgrade the running game so Allen doesn't feel like he has to play hero ball all the time. Sometimes it feels like they're building an offense for a team that plays in a dome, instead of for a team that plays outdoors. In December and January. In Buffalo. Seems pretty obvious when you're winning games by 4 scores in September, and losing by 1 score in the playoffs.
  4. Not nearly as entertaining as the video of that average Eagle fan who ate horse dung after the Superbowl win.
  5. I almost forgot about my crazy “everybody gets a gradient” phase. I might have to revisit that.
  6. I know my only chance of winning is to pick opposite Rams80 but I think I’d just as soon go ahead and pick the teams I think might win. Eagles Chiefs
  7. Viking fans saw this Diggs act up close. Happy Stefon is awesome. Great teammate, great player. Frustrated Stefon is another story. Just wait for the cryptic tweets and the selfies while wearing another team’s jersey.
  8. Has the old “fake going for it on 4th down to get the other team to jump offsides” ever worked? Like in history? Ever?
  9. Hey hey now. Don’t get in the way of the narrative that the Chiefs get all the calls.
  10. Maybe. It just takes away some of the enjoyment for me I guess. It’s one thing if the play seems close from the start, then you’re thinking right away that you want to see the replay. But when you think you just saw a touchdown, players high diving, fans yelling, and then after two or three replays here comes Tony Romo’s annoying voice with the “oh, wait a minute”… sure if it goes in my team’s favor I’m relieved but if I’m just trying to watch a game, it’s a bummer.
  11. Huh. I thought the NFL had decided at some point that if it basically looked like a catch they weren’t going to go over it with that super slow mo fine toothed comb. There were a few high profile overturns of what looked obvious touchdown, and the thought was they should avoid that going forward. I guess not.
  12. Holy crap, dude. If you stayed with her more than a month or two, all I can say is that sex must have been amazing.
  13. It's hard for me to really work up any sort of hatred for KC and it probably will be for a while. I'm ancient and have been watching the NFL for 50 years, so my hatreds are old, crusty, and covered with decades of rust. I've despised the Cowboys forever, it's like breathing to me. The Steelers. The Packers, although that's mostly a division thing. These are deep, baked in hatreds, I just don't have room for any johnny-come-latelys like the Chiefs. Hell, for the better part of my entire life the Chiefs were a complete afterthought. It would be like hating the Milwaukee Bucks. Add to that their nice uniforms, the fact that they don't play anywhere near New York or LA, and that Patrick Mahomes is just plain fun to watch, you're gonna have a hard time convincing me to root against them as long as they're not playing the Vikings. In fact, the Cowboys are the only team left in these playoffs that I'd be pissed to see win.
  14. Just checking in on this thread while watching the game and… There seems to be a significant amount of whining going on. Just saying.
