  1. I had seen that you had updated it. I was thinking more about if your USFL makes it to like the 2020's that another update may be warranted around that time. I do like this update by the way. It maintains its connection to its roots but does move toward the modern era.
  2. A couple that I could see being used at some point... I could see the Orlando Renegades needing a rebrand as the USFL gets into the modern era, so I'd enjoy seeing either the Arena League Predators or AAF Apollos making an appearance. The Spring League's Linemen logo could be a solid modern update to the Maulers. I like the modern USFL's take on the Philadelphia Stars, so it would be welcome from me to see it show up here at some point.
  3. I think the last one looks good, but maybe try making the internal black lines thicker as well so it doesn't get lost when viewed at a smaller size. I do like what you did with this quite a bit, the jerseys especially look great to me. I had thought that a black helmet may work better with the logo, but the thicker outline may get rid of that concern also.

  5. Here's an updated version of my Smelting Milwaukee FC logo concept. I increased the fill of molten iron in the soccer ball, moved the text to the now wider outer ring, and to re-fill the space in the inner ring, I added more of the bolt heads from the first version.
  6. Thanks, appreciate the compliments! That's a fair point; I avoided that name in part because of the old Milwaukee Iron arena football team. I don't know the status of that trademark so I decided to just avoid it.

  8. Thanks, I appreciate it! I tried the couple of tweaks you mentioned and when I get them done I'll share the update. The more filled ball is definitely looking better. I'm trying to experiment with the text more. I think I found an improvement in moving the text to the outer ring, and adding more bolts in the inner ring so it isn't too empty. I just need to find the best balance and placement for those elements so the logo doesn't get too busy.
  9. As Milwaukee's entry into the USL-C has become official for 2025 I have read and heard more discussion with fans about potential names that are more creative than "City (Nick)name" FC, and plenty of fans have taken to wanting a name referencing Iron (the team's stadium is being built in what's been named the Iron District) so I had this idea for another concept. I am not terribly familiar with Soccer naming conventions, but I have the impression that there is a tradition for naming teams after industries or occupations associated with the city so I think this fits. Milwaukee is the home to Harley Davidson, and motorcycle parts are typically cast rather than forged, so I focused my identity on that method of metal manufacturing. I went for the idea of pouring the molten metal into a soccer ball mold, encased in a metal roundel. The secondary logos are just pulling the mold out of the roundel. C & C is always appreciated. I hope you all enjoy!
  10. I would agree with this. I can also recognize some of these as taking inspiration from teams in multiple Spring football leagues, so you may be holding yourself back by attaching the USFL name to it because there definitely are some excellent designs here. The Utah Pioneers and Hampton Roads Sharks in particular stand out to me as clever uses of space and elements of the identity to make really good looking and unique logos. Without context (an alt history story or something) though, how this connects to the USFL is kind of confusing. Even if you used your USFL logo and initials but rebranded it as something like the United Spring Football League, it may help with that.
  11. I wanted a reason to try out a new template I was working on for football uniforms, so I decided to a take on an updated look for the London Monarchs, similar to what other former NFL Europe teams got when they were brought back for the ELF. I updated the logo to give it a sense of lighting hitting it from the left side, which also allowed me to create an L shape within the crown that can be pulled out to use on its own as a secondary logo. I kept the basic design of their uniforms the same but tried to update it to fit the modern sleeve design.

  13. I know I'm cutting it close on this group, but count me in. I'll do my best to meet the deadline haha.
  14. My bad, I forgot to look back at the other names before suggesting. Another thought for it came to mind though if you don't mind me sharing them out; Luna Eclipse FC. Hope you don't mind, this series just got my own mind going thinking of ideas. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
  15. Question, I do not have any sort of template for uniforms... could I use a uniform designing tool from a clothing company and upload my colors, graphics, etc into it to make my uniforms or would that be considered against the rules?
  16. These are some good names for the new teams! The rationales make sense (I'll admit I had to look up AO in a soccer context but get it now that I did haha) and fit the locations well. Galilean United is an inspired use of that name; when it fits, it fits. One suggestion I'll offer would be instead of just Luna FC, maybe Luna Rovers FC. Aside from being a name with meaning in the sport, it references the various (un)manned missions multiple nations have sent to the Moon over the past several decades.
  17. I think I agree as well. Maybe an idea would be to make the pinstripes into rows of tiny stars? That way they look like pinstripes from a distance but you can see them as stars up close? The stars on the sides could also work well.
  18. That idea would make sense. Agreed that losing Tampa is a shame, but makes sense to make sure the hub city has a team to call its own. I wonder if they're relocating Tampa to Memphis because the helmets are more or less the same shell color so they can be reused with Memphis to save on cost? Possibly even the uniforms with some changes to switch logo patches, etc?
  19. These look awesome! Would you mind posting the link for pre-order? Idk if it's because of my phone's browser but I can't see your signature.
  20. The Jets are looking good. I like the use of the Jet on the stripes.
