NFL Redesign (Jets Pg. 1; 7/1) 3/32

This will be a series though it might take me a while to complete it.

First up: my Chiefs. For KC I wanted to stay with tradition, but fix a few things that bug me as a fan. First I made all the striping consistent throughout. I also enlarged the Lamar Hunt memorial logo and added an arrowhead to the left hip of the pants. As you can see there are no tv numbers. I feel that these are unnecessary and won't use them at all in this series. The wordmark on the back is just the font that is used for the NOB. The red and white pants are exchangeable on the road uniform. Click on the image to view it larger.

C&C is welcomed! Thanks for looking!

The next team is the Houston Texans. I have always thought that a white helmet for Houston would work so much better than what they currently have. I gave them a unique and consistent striping pattern and I think that it turned out pretty good. I also put the wordmark "Houston Texans" in every sleeve cuff. Once again the wordmark is just a placeholder for the players name in that font on the back. C&C Welcome! Click to view larger.Houston%20Texans%20concept_zpspnbcnc9f.p

P.S. Is there a better template for paint out there than what I am using? This is the best that I could find.

P.P.S Sorry for the pixelation. I don't know why but when I save my work close out and open back up later to resume working it makes all curved edges pixelated with different shades of that color. Is there a way to prevent this? Thanks!

I have a few I created in my signature. Just click the link and help yourself! Also, make sure you're saving as a PNG and not a JPEG. That may be what's pixelating your images.

Texans are looking pretty good. One problem: take the HOUSTON and the TEXANS off the sleeves

Thanks! I think once I finish I'll go back and update. That probably would be a good idea to take it off since you can hardly see it anyway. I'm sure you noticed but just in case somebody didn't the wordmarks wrap around the cuff to say HOUSTON TEXANS. Thought I would say that in case someone was like why does it say

TEXANS HOUSTON instead of vice-versa.

Starting work on the Jets now. Would you guys like to see the 1963 primary jet plane logo or their current alternate with just NY in the football for the helmet logo? Personally I like the jet, but I know many people don't care for it.

if the jets just went back to their old uniforms and logos i would be happy so go with the plane logo imo

Rework the number, it's too thick, and messed up. Also you need to color in the grey parts of the helmet with a darker green to look like shadows, it would also help to use a Nike template instead of under armour

Also continue the stripes onto the backs, and clean up the helmet logo, it's pixelated
