wat11 Posted May 30, 2016 Share Posted May 30, 2016 I have been looking at everyone's concepts for a while now and decided I wanted to give it a shot. My idea is centered around 2 new expansion teams and Tampa Bay relocating to Portland. I have not had any luck playing around with paint or photoshop, so I will be using Mizuno's website to create the uniforms and Richardson hats to create the hats. Any c and c is welcome and appreciated! Since I will have 32 teams, there will be 8 divisions of 4 teams each. The divisions will be as follows: AL East AL North AL South AL West 1. New York Yankees 1. Detroit Tigers 1. Arizona Diamondbacks 1. Seattle Mariners 2. Boston Red Sox 2. Cleveland Indians 2. Colorado Rockies 2. Oakland A's 3. Toronto Blue Jays 3. Chicago White Sox 3. Texas Rangers 3. Los Angeles Angels 4. Baltimore Orioles 4. Minnesota Twins 4. Kansas City Royals 4. Portland (Still looking for a team name here) NL East NL North NL South NL West 1. Montreal Expos 1. Milwaukee Brewers 1. Washington Nationals 1. Los Angeles Dodgers 2. New York Mets 2. Chicago Cubs 2. Atlanta Braves 2. San Diego Padres 3. Philadelphia Phillies 3. I didn't learn so quick, but I figured out if you just make a couple random colored squares or circles, and use every move on the toolbar, you learn a lot more smoothly and quick. HOWEVER If you don't have a Mac, you can't get it. I would try Inkscape, which I never have used before, but the double image would probably work too. Both of these are in SVG format, so go to www.mockuparena.com Also, about your relocation, I think it would make more sense if you relocated the A's to Portland, and the Rays move to Charlotte, however that is coming from a Rays fan who lives in North Carolina and has a subscription to MLB.tv AND MiLB.tv, so that says something. It was pretty much a toss up between Portland and Charlotte. I was thinking of doing some version of the Mud Cats, I have always kind of liked that logo. I'll keep that in mind! wat11 Posted May 30, 2016 Author Share Posted May 30, 2016 CALIFORNIA ANGELS I decided I wanted to get rid of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim name, so I went back with the old California Angels. I think the current Angels uniforms are kind of boring with just the red and white so I decided to use more gold with these uniforms... Let me know what you think! The Angels look great with the Pirates-style font, and the red and yellow works really well for them. However, I don't think that Wild West looking wordmark works for the Mariners, and the generic script you used for all three road uniforms is kind of uninspired, too. wat11 Posted June 7, 2016 Author Share Posted June 7, 2016 COLORADO ROCKIES Tried a redo of the Rockies, still not the most exciting thing in the world, but hopefully a little cleaner than the last ones I put up...Still having a tough time getting the shades of purple right, but ideally it would all be the same color as the purple alt jersey. I'm kind of stuck on Columbia Blue alts for them....So looking for opinions on which you guys like better... I'm having a hard time working in the Vegas Gold.
