Hawkeye15
Previous Z logo and branding is much better than the new A logo.
Hawkeye15
Main design element is the addition of the yellow piping which shows up flourescent yellow on yellow elements and as the primary gold color on blue elements. The piping includes the lightning flash in the pants stripe, sleeve stripe, and at the bottom of the jersey numbers.
Hawkeye15
Leaned into the angled stripes and hard edges that the logo uses prominently.
Hawkeye15
The sleeve design should feel like a husky without being too over the top.
Partycrasher
ah yes, the Big 26 those red NIU jerseys look sweet. as does everything Akron-related.
Hawkeye15
To me, Bowling Green looks its best between 2008 and 2010 with the two-toned shoulder stripes. I tried to replicate that here with a unique stripe duplicated on the pants as well.
Hawkeye15
Leaning into the rocket with the moon behind it as the new primary logo / helmet logo. The overall design is more futuristic ... why not when you are the rockets?
Hawkeye15
Buffalo's current brand is very close for me. I like the gray and black when used in moderation, so I kept the gray pants. The sleeves and number font have a bull horn feature to them.
Hawkeye15
Eastern Michigan's primary E logo is incredibly lifeless. So I flipped things around and went with the E logo their baseball team uses. The rest of the design elements follow suit.
GriffinM6
Toledo is probably the best of this MAC bunch. I think the only improvement on them you need to make is thickening the outline on the road numbers. They'd lose legibility pretty easily in real life. Maybe have them similar to the Raiders' throwbacks.

Hawkeye15
My goal was to tastefully use a feather as a helmet stripe without it being over the top. I then repeat that diagonal lined stripe on the cuffs and the pants. The numbers have a drop shadow to mirror the primary logo.
Hawkeye15
The main design element is the yellow stitched pattern, which is supposed to have a cowboy feel to it. The yellow stitches only ever appear on brown, so that means brown stripes show up on white elements. Western Michigan should have ran a '73 throwback by now. What a unique design with the footballs on the shoulders.
the_grateful_ted
CMU is very nice, subtle use of the feather which ended up looking great. Would like to see just a little more yellow for western, but the overall vibe is very solid
GriffinM6
Love the simplicity and unique pattern used for WMU. CMU looks great except for the number font. I like what they use currently.
Hawkeye15
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. The striping pattern is phenomenal and unique to Cincinnati. Let's make it bigger and more visible. Shrink down the sleeve logo to fit inside the dang sleeve cap. The red underline also merges into the sleeve stripe. Hawkeye15
The Indiana vertical stripes appear solely on the sleeve cuffs. The sleeve caps has sublimated vertical stripes that lead into the solid stripes. The helmet (double stripe) and pants (single stripe) have matching sublimated stripes. Hawkeye15
The Northwestern stripe is back ... in black. I really like the purple and black combination for Northwestern so I stuck with that, at least for the home uniforms. No black pants on the road, however. Hawkeye15
Only change for my Hawkeyes happens on the sleeves. Shrink down the stripe so that it actually fits modern jerseys. The ends of the thicker yellow stripe taper at the end similar to the stripes on these uniforms:
