Radford Highlanders used to be navy, red and forest green, but they apparently dropped the forest green for gray.

 

This is why I wish the Jacksonville team in the NFL wasn't called the Jaguars, because the green and red colors look very lovely here. This would clash very well against a royal blue and athletic gold team.

"Tincaps" is a reference to Johnny Appleseed, who is buried in Fort Wayne. Green and red seems pretty appropriate for apple trees.

Fair enough. I just thought it was funny, seeing how tin is generally a silvery color.
