Needschat
Tonight we witnessed a media partner end a race!!! Fans at the track on social media are not happy! Quote Oh what could have been....
dont care
Reportedly it was because the humidity kept them from being able to dry the track until 1am. Race wouldn’t have ended until after 3am. I understand fans wanting them to run it but that is too late. I work nights and was surprised when I saw they called it but I also understood it. DCarp1231
Word on the street is the employees of Stewart-Haas Racing will learn the future of the team at some point today. The expectation is that the team will fold and all four charters are to be sold.
DCarp1231
It’s official. SHR is ceasing operations at the end of 2024 It looks like 3 out of the 4 charters up for sale have already been secured by other teams. The last one remains unspoken for-
Dalcowboyfan92
I think Stewart mentally checked out after Ford prevented him from going after Larson. And how good Kyle has been these past few seasons; it's understandable how upset you would be.

DCarp1231
SVG is racing in the Chicago Street Course again this year, but for Kaulig instead of Trackhouse (even though it’s a partnership with each other)
DCarp1231
Truex to announce his retirement on Friday-
dont care
So names to take his seat that have been reported. Noah Gragson: unusual pick considering the last 2 times he was with Toyota it ended on bad terms (Legacy found any reason to get rid of him because they were switching to Toyota and they didn’t want him) but he already has the bass pro sponsorship with him. Cory Heim: he’s been more linked with 23XI but Truex’ retirement changes things and Joe Gibbs may force them to let them have Cory. Chandler Smith: the move up to xfinity makes sense, and is more popular to sponsors than Sheldon Creed who’s been using TRD for a lot of the year. of those options I give chandler smith having the best odds with Corey heim still going to 23XI. I think there is still too much bad blood between Noah and Toyota for him to go their one year after they nearly ended his cup career. It wouldn’t surprise me if we get another Cindric-Burton situation with Heim flipping from 23XI to JGR
dont care
Now the leading candidate is chase briscoe. Makes more sense than gragson, but I see ford doing everything they can to try to keep him
DCarp1231
Rumors are circulating that Justin Haley will move from Rick Ware Racing to Wood Brothers Racing and that Chase Briscoe will be picked up by Joe Gibbs Racing to run the 19 next season
DCarp1231
More silly season news- • Justin Haley said in an interview that he is committed to Rick Ware Racing • Gene Haas is retaining one of SHR’s charters, creating Haas Factory Team and will be keeping SHR’s Xfinity teams open under the direction of Joe Custer (Cole Custer’s father)
DCarp1231
It’s official… A few days after Christopher Bell spilled the beans, Joe Gibbs Racing officially announced Chase Briscoe will drive the 19 starting next year.
dont care
I do not like the move. Chase does not seem like the guy. Just a guy who will run mid pack every race who has sponsorship money behind him. It really doesn’t make sense with bass pro staying on board.
DCarp1231
Speaking of Joe Gibbs Racing- It was confirmed that the team suspended Aric Almirola indefinitely following a physical altercation with Bubba Wallace at a joint meeting between JGR & 23XI before the race weekend at Charlotte. He is set to return to racing in July. https://sports.yahoo.com/report-aric-almirola-serving-indefinite-suspension-at-joe-gibbs-racing-after-altercation-with-bubba-wallace-140128602.html

DCarp1231
Last night’s 5OT finish was the most exciting, frustrating, annoying, and disappointing finish I’ve ever watched. All that nonsense for a damn Logano win.
LAWeaver
I'd totally be in favor of NASCAR re-implementing a limit to the number of OT attempts. Hell I'd be fine with just one attempt. Congrats to Joey, but man that finish was stupid. 1 Quote @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos
