IronChefShark
Niners name Nolan as new head coachat least its a defensive minded guy with a good track record. There were rumors floating around that either Holmgren or Shanahan would have been let go by thier teams and one of them was gonna be hired by the Niners. I never believed those rumors, and rightfully so. A lot of the sports media around here see it as a "make up" move for letting Jim Mora Jr go. They may be right. I find it odd that the head coaching vacancy was filled before the GM vacancy was. Normally, its the GM thats hired and the GM goes out and hires who he wants as the coach. NJTank
Well this may be good sometimes its good to pick a new coach especially with a young team which is the way the 49ers should go start from square one it may take 3-5 years but they need everything any way. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

NJTank
True that may be another statement often great players have a difficult time coaching because they expoect teh same greatness and if its natural abillity they have they dont understand and cant relate to players at teh same skill level. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
