-kj Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 The U-20 team's not bad, I saw them play the US here (well, in Blaine, a suburb) a few weeks ago. The US won 2-1.The "Group of Death" seems to be Group D. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! Frenchie Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Am I the only one who thinks we should have gotten a drwa aginst Columbia as well? That first goal was bogus. There was NO FOUL to be called, the goal took Canada's breath away. @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6

Breakwood Posted June 18, 2005 Author Posted June 18, 2005 It all comes down to the game tomorrow morning. Canada must beat Italy to have a chance to move on. A win gives Canada 4 points which should be enough to move on in 3rd position. If Canada wins 1-0 and Colombia wins against Syria by 3 goals Canada moves on in 2nd place. If Canada is in 3rd place a draw between Australia and Japan puts us through or a win by Germany over Argentina puts us through. If the Netherlands win over Bennin Canada could go through also.Turkey 2-2 UkraineChina 4-1 Panama

Columbia dominated that game True enough.Bud when lady luck leaves you at the alter, wouldn't wish you never met her?Well, we're OUT, and once again, I have to come to terms with the fact that we are not a Soccer Nation just yet...I think our women team has a better chance to bring us fame... @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6

officeglenn Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Man, we got spanked by Italy. Outshot 33-13, I think it was. Ah well, there's always 2007, when we can win it on home soil.* *Providing that new stadium gets built.
