If Blue Jays where in red ?

If the Blue Jays where in Toronto , for Canada Day , what would their jerseys look like , seeing that they havent wore red since their old logo, so does would anyone have ideas for their new style ? This is what i made ;

Okay, but seriously, those are generic-y looking, but I like em, simply because they look like something they'd actually wear for Canada Day.

Those are SO sweet. Now would would be better than ever for the Jays to bust out the reds for Canada Day, seeing as they are the only team north of the border.

no, they'd done it before (1996) and had done it afterwards (IIRC 2001 or 02 was the last year they did it). After this one (the 1997 version), they generally donned sleeved reds which, like this one, had CANADA instead of teh player name on the back.

I'd heard the Ehs, aka the A's, used to do something similar-a home uni recolor. basically this was their home uni, except the green was replaced by navy and the gold was swapped out in favor of red. dunno if they still do this.

Last time they did it was in 2002, but it was on June 30th.

I imagine now that the club owns the stadium, they will make sure that July 1st is clear for a ballgame.
