jm1266
Hopefully this link will appear, if not... go to the Kansas City Royals website and click on the icon for the 2006 Fantasy Camp. Check out the uniforms shown in the pictures. They appear to have rec league uniforms and authentics that don't appear authentic. The front numerals and back nameplate look all wrong. I'd hate to spend all that money and end up getting those.http://kansascity.royals.mlb.com/NASApp/ml...orum/fc2006.jsp

I would be really pissed if I paid $3,700 and got those crappy things. I had better get an authentic with the lettering sewn on.
jm1266
I don't know... Even George Brett appears to be wearing a knock off.
tmorss9
Brett is wearing a knock-off, and the guys who are wearing authentics still have the generic lettering, and arched names with serifs... All in all, I'd say thats pretty bad for $3,700. "Hats for bats. Keep bats warm. Gracias"
otherwilds
Those jerseys look like the Nashville Sounds latest unishttp://nashvillesounds.com/store/Default.a...92&categoryId=
jm1266
Well, their ad does say "suit up in your Royals uniform." They didn't say anything about it being a "Kansas City" Royals uniform.
VitaminD
[John McEnroe]YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! [/John McEnroe]I know the Royals are thrifty, but this takes it to a new low. Why not just spring for those old Starter fashion jersey and use trainer's tape to mark out some numbers? Sheesh... "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17. IronChefShark
the Giants fit thier fantasy campers up in actual uniforms. US state flag concepts
FUNKAFIED
The Red Sox use real unis. I think their Fantasy Camp is something astronomical now though, like over $10,000. It was s $3500 "donation to the foundation" for just for a fantasy weekend at Fenway last year.If their going to pay that kind of money they should definitely get the real deal. Hell, some of these guys are probably good enough to make the team in KC.
jm1266
I did the Pirates Fantasy Camp. The uniforms were the real deal and everything was first class all the way.
