Cujo
They have Notre Dame ahead of TCU, who just beat Oklahoma, at Oklahoma??That's bullplop!!I would probably not hate Notre Dame as much as I do if they weren't overrated EVERY FLUFFING YEAR!!! WJMorris3
DirtyCurty, with all due respect, I think Notre Dame could run the table this year and play in the Gator Bowl. Their team is just not good enough for a BCS Bowl - it's a fluke they're ranked at this point. Why willingly schedule Navy, anyways? CUPCAKE GAME. Cujo
What are you talking about? Forget the Gator Bowl. If Notre Dame runs the table (which they won't!), they will for sure be in the National Championship Game.
WJMorris3
No they will not. Not when both Texas and LSU run the table as well.
Cujo
I think you're forgetting that Mack Brown is still in charge down in Austin. Those guys are bound to go down in the Red River Shootout, or if they actually win that one they'll for sure lose to Nebraska or Colorado in the Big 12 Title game. And LSU? It's gonna be very hard for a team with all they've been though, and a new Head Coach, to go undefeated in the SEC. I'll be pulling for them, but i dont think they can do it. And regardless, if Notre Dame does go undefeated, they'll for sure get a BCS at-large bid. The Gator Bowl wouldn't even be an option.

Their football teams have been playing each other regularly for quite a while.
WJMorris3
If the Irish get a BCS at-large bid, I'd be shocked. They don't play a hard enough schedule.
Cujo
Notre Dame will get the votes. All the voters are dying to see Notre Dame do well again. Remember when they had a nice season a few years back, then got blown out in the Fiesta Bowl to Oregon State?? That's what will happen if Notre Dame puts up a 1 or 2 loss season. I honestly see Notre Dame as 4 loss team this year, they'll lose to Michigan IMO, than USC and a couple other teams along the way. Michigan and USC are the teams to beat this year as well. But this is the way I see it
Cujo
In no way am i saying Notre Dame will make the BCS. They'll probably drop four games or so and make a cheap bowl game.

HatCityEnforcer
OK, lemme get this straight...TCU walks into Norman and beats the Sooners on their home turf, yet OU stays ahead of TCU in the polls?Yep, makes a LOT of sense....Then again, these are the same folks that somehow computed that by some odd reason Auburn didn't deserve a shot at the National Title last year, subjecting us to seeing USC dismantle an Oklahoma team that should not have been there in Miami. Can we PLEASE have a fluffing playoff? I think they should start ranking teams after Week 4 or 5 when you actually have a clue on how good a team is gonna be. So far, if the rankings were to actually go by strength of schedule and wins, TCU and Florida State would be 1-2.
