I was rooting for the Cyclones to win today and reach the Big 12 title game against Texas.Well, once again the kicking game choked in OT, and they just fell apart at the end. Look, I give my props to Kansas for winning the game and reaching a bowl game, but you know what this does for the Cyclones now?More then likely another trip to Shreveport because the bowl people are too stupid to see a 7-4 Iowa State team is much more attractive then a 6-5 Oklahoma team for their bowl game. I hate CU, more than Nebraska these days, as I mentioned in another thread, but I wanted to see Iowa State lose so CU could go ahead and get killed by Texas in the BIG XII Championship game. Could happen.That may have been the best example of the BCS' failures.CU beats Nebraska 63-36(?), and then avenges one of their two losses in the Big XII Championship game, and Nebraska, following this defeat at the hands of CU, and not even winning their own conference Championship, gets the nod over CU to play Miami in the Rose Bowl. NAH!You know the pollsters would give Joe Pa and his Penn State team the benefit of the doubt and that would be enough to give them a Rose Bowl berth and.... GASP!
