AAO
It's tough to make a little frog look menacing, and that's what I tried to do here. A spadefoot is a type of poisonous frog:EDIT: Updateoriginal: Behance Network || ianbakar.com || Dribbble
nafsder2003
Looks more grumpy than menacing But it looks very good. Well designed. I like the wordmark a lot. On the second logo on the right, I'd suggest putting some back feet on it. Right now, it looks kind of funny...almost like all he has are those front legs. AAO
i realized in the secondary of the frog in front of the grass, i sheared it too much. I'm gonna go back to how it is in the primary. Patriot54
Great work AAO! Like nafsder said, the logo with the front of the frog looks funny. And just my opinion, but the grass in the background is distracting. But I love the secondary spade logo that goes with the team name.
LucaMaz3
i really like it. i think that the frog does look kinda grumpy, you mighy want to make it look more menacing. the color scheme catches my eye. overall great job.
AAO
Thanks...yeah i tried putting hind feet but its not working out right as of yet. And the grass...at first i couldnt decide if it looked more like wings on the frog or if it really looked like grass. BB61
I love it, although in my 24 years of living in Philly, I've never seen one of those things. o_OYou always have the most unique nicknames. This isn't as good as the Amberjacks, though.
AAO
Man Nitro's Amberjacks was a hell of a set. Haha and yeah, I agree...maybe this team belongs in las vegas or somewhere in florida's swamp lands. andrewharrington
It looks pretty static, very statuesque, too realistic, and kind of clunky to me. There is much room for improvement with some style choices. It needs more visual interest. Right now, it's like, "Yeah, there's a frog. Hello, frog. You look like you're having tons of fun sitting in that grass." It's not doing anything. The viewer can't make an inference about where the frog might be leaping, where it might be swimming, etc.It has no motion. It's just sitting there, yet it doesn't look very regal, which is almost a must for a static logo.It looks too much like a National Geographic photo. The lines and shapes are too predictable. Too real. Give it some style. In particular, the limbs lack definition and thus, they look like jelly. And I don't necessarily think the Philadelphia Eagles-style type is the best choice here. It makes this look even more like a restaurant sign.
