She might be a talented player, but  she cannot even say she did all this to get into college as she's already committed to ....Rutgers?!?!?   Yeah, not exactly a basketball powerhouse, but a far better program than most of their other sports.

Um, if being in the Top 25 Women's Poll constantly isn't a powerhouse, then idk what is.

54 of 60 from the floor, now that's impressive.

How, much you want to bet that 54 of them were layups?

I need to bash a few people.

1. The coach. That coach needs to be fired immediately. Every player should have gotten to play at least 5 minutes or close to whatever would be the maximum that each player could play. If there were players that didn't play, and I was a parent, that coach would be dead right now.

2. The girl. She's just plain greedy. Scoring 83% of your own team's points is stupid, but scoring 1/3 of the whole points in the game... Basically: Pass the rock!

3. The other team. At some point, they must have just been giving up points and not trying at all. Embarrassing.

4. The other coach. Come on! Is your team really that bad, and tell your team to give a better effort.

According to the NY Daily News:

"She only scored one point from the free-throw line and hit just four three-pointers as she knifed through the defense at will to score layup after layup."

What a ballhog.

In the Quick Hits of The Olympian, which is the local paper where I live it gave some interesting quotes and story about the game from the other coach.

I dont have a direct link to it, because it looks like they dont have quick hits on their website, so Ill type then.

Actually Maybe its from the NY post. But Ill write what it says here.

"It's nothing against Epophanny," SPringer told the newspaper. "Ihave great admiration for her. This was an adult decision. Why would you do this against a team like ours?" Springer said her team, which has won only four league games this season, stopped playing defense in the second half. "She didn't earn this," Springer told the Post. "It was like picking on a handicapped person."

Stupid that a team would stop playing defense, even stupider that the coach wouldnt have the decency to pull out the team and put in the backups. If I was a benchwarmer for that team I would quit, because you practice so hard to try and get your team better so you have chances to play in blowouts, and then the coach doenst play you....

The World Basketball Championship, the Davis Cup, Ryder Cup, Iraq: Every day there's further proof that we, as a nation, are not very good at international competition.

So, where was this outrage when y'all were slobbering on Kobe's 81-point knob?

Apples to oranges...

Yah, the Raptors might suck and all, but they had a puncher's chance of winning that game...If Kobe drops 61 on em instead of 81, the Raptors win the game and that's that.
