They still have band of loyal fans who will watch no matter how good or bad they are. This applies to every team. It doesn't mean the team deserves any less respect on a playing level or their fans deserve less respect because of something they can't control (unless they themselves wanted to buy a thousand tickets to every game.)Hell if I lived in Anaheim, I'd buy season tickets and wouldn't care if they never showed up. I'd rather watch a game with a handful of die-hards than a bar full of bandwagoneers.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Anaheim had to contend with the Kings and their long-established fanbase, while Carolina had to deal with being in a new market where any fans of hockey there were fans of other teams in the league. But the NHL must be doing something right if the 24th-place team in the NHL is drawing over 15,000 per game, and continuing to rise. BloodAtFirstBite
It looks like my Sharks won't be winning, so the Sabres have to be everyone's sentimental pick. The city of Buffalo hasn't won anything really. They deserve something after the Bills losing 4 straight Super Bowls. It will probably end up being Anaheim & Carolina in the finals. NBC should just love that.
