FiddySicks
Four home runs this week, two walk offs, including a grand slam tonight. Looks like trhe Cards have found a sleeper. Anyone have him in fantasy Baseball? On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Shumway
Man, what a great game tonight. Rolen and Wilson(or was it Encarnacion?) with superb defensive plays. That walk-off slam made things 10 times better.

STL FANATIC
Bennett's on a hot streak at the right time. Molina's hurt and the Cards needed the lift.Sure he'll cool back down, but I'm loving what he's doing now. I'd be happy to have him as a backup again next year. He may be nothing more than a journeyman backup, but I'd be happy to make him just a backup.Meanwhile, Chris Duncan, though not as hot as last week, IS the rule deal full time. Doesn't have near the at bats as the other rookies, and it's a DARN good rookie class this year...so he doesn't have a real good shot. But he's earned consideration for Rookie of the Year.I think the only chance Duncan has at all of getting Rookie of the Year is if he passes Fielder and finishes with the most home runs among rookies AND keeps his batting average as the highest among rookies (though he wouldn't technically qualify among MLB leaders). Even then, his chances might be slim, and while passing Fielder is possible, it'd be tough. Now if you project Duncan's numbers out to the amount of at bats the other rookies have had...they're monstrous...but that's just a projection of a relatively small sample size, so it's not really fair anyways. But, I figured I'd give Duncan a mention because (1) he didn't get mentioned last week for his amazing week, and (2) deserves to be thought of with the top rookies even if he can't win the award, and I hadn't seen him discussed here before. LetsGoAdmirals
Man I had to sit through a whole year of Gary Bennett here in Milwaukee. He hit 3 HRs all year splitting time with the equally repulsive Chad Moeller(he had an amazing 5 HRs).I do not long for those days.
