Its just a god damned shame when I see a team even wearing alts in a league/conference championship series. I'm a huge Oakland fan, but I hate how they wore their green alts on the road. Enjoy it.Imo the Cards should design an alt jersey, prefferably navy, to go with that hat. Its just too nice of a hat to be half assed and worn with the home jerseys. Nothing wrong with the home jerseys, they just go with the red hat, as the greys go with the navy hat. Kinda makes a bastard stepchild (huh?) of one of the best hats in the league.Disagree.There is history behind that. They didn't actually start wearing the red caps until 1963. In 2000 the Mets never wore their blue cap, but tons were sold. The only time I saw anyone from the team wear it was Al Leiter at one of the pre-series press conferences.The Giants never wore their black on black cap in 2002 either, and in 1997 the Marlins only wore their Black cap but the 2-tone with the patch were sold also.
