my list, part II:

*our troops to come home in one piece, although sadly, some won't.

*somebody to tell all these terrorists it doesn't have to be this way, they don't have to go around killing folks that didn't do anything to you and use their religion as a crutch

*a raise to the guy who came up with that 'Real Men of Genius' commercial

Well, Hannukkah starts tonight but our big family present exchange doesn't start until tomorrow. I've made it fairly clear that I wanted an XBox with NCAA FB, Madden and NHL 2004 for a few months now, however my wife absolutely refuses to consider this a reasonable request from a 35 year old man with a 2 year old daughter, so my best guess is that I'll wind up with some other type of "grown up" electonic gadgetry like a satellite radio adapter for my car or maybe a palm pilot. She always does me right on gifts, so I'm confident it'll be a good take, whatever I wind up with.

And frankly, I'm on line with Joel regarding the gift of good health and happiness for the family. Our household battled sinus and ear infections all around throughout November and into early December, so we're due for some "peace on earth" and "silent nights."

The sneaky little minx got me the XBox and all 3 games!  I'm such a juvenile.
