SteveR
Didn't the usual road white jerseys also have silver numbers? I remember it being a silver top-to-bottom deal, with very little black and/or dark green.

RamblinGamblinTiger
This is slightly OT, but relates to this Hawaii Bowl....Is baseball played in Aloha Stadium? At the rigth end of the field inside the redzone (as seen from the tv broadcast / the ASU endzone), it looks like there is a pitcher's mound cutout, and sliding pits. What's up with those? What's up with those?Dont know if it still is, but it definately was at one point. During the Pro Bowl, the majority of the TV equipment is kept in the dugouts. Id assume UH's baseball team plays there. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) What's up with those?Yes, baseball was played at Aloha Stadium, but not anymore. The stadium seats are seperated into 4 7,000 seat sections, I can't find a picture of them seperated but it certainly looks weird. They can move them into certain configurations for different events. But in 2007 they'll lock them in place and use the stadium primarily if not exclusivly for football.
HatManTC
kinda sucks for the Hawaii players having to play a home game. you think they would love to get to play somewhere else like Cleveland or something lol. by RoscoeUA by gingerbreadman
U of Hawaii Warriors 3
kinda sucks for the Hawaii players having to play a home game. you think they would love to get to play somewhere else like Cleveland or something lol.its not that we dont want to play outside of Hawaii... its just that after 1st and only bowl outside of Hawaii (92 Holiday bowl vs Illinois) no bowl will want us as we dont travel well, i think if memory serves me right, we only traveled 1200 fans to that game. so yes we would like to get to a bowl outside of hawaii, but we dont travel well. case in point, 2001 we were 9-3 and we were not invited to any bowl that year, hence the creation of the Hawaii Bowl.and as far as baseball at Aloha Stadium, yes baseball was played there, but it is hardly ever played there anymore. i think as of right now Hawaii high school baseball as well as O'ahus other major university, Hawaii Pacific University, play baseball there. Although, The Stadium Authority is looking into making the football configuration permanint. My favorite saying... "Nobody is perfect, I am nobody, so therefore i am perfect!!!" CityOfWalrus
UH baseball plays at Les Murakamai field...usually on the road uniforms UH plays in white jersey, black number outlined in silver, silver pants with black kapa detail and silver helmets... but this year at the hawaii bowl they have everything but the silver helmets and wore the dark green helmets and they looked awesome... especially winning 41-21 over a pac-10 school...Brennan for Heisman in 07!
