BlueSky
Great concept but I really don't care for the colors, especially since they were transplanted to NOLA with the Hornets. You guys are going on about people saying crawdads, and you're right. Don't get me started about the ridiculous misuse of "N'Awlins" - locals say New OR-lens - or how people in movies/TV shows supposedly set in N.O. talk with sugary sweet "Suthun" accents straight out of Gone With The Wind. Gothamite
Yeah - no American would say "Pair-ee" when speaking of the French capital. Putting on a local accent for place names just seems silly.I suspect that it might be considered a sign of respect, but it comes off the opposite. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Ted Cunningham
Is it just me, or do the eyes of that crawfish look sort of like sun-glasses? It gives the bugger a real bluesy/jazzy look, and isn't that part of what New Orleans culture is?
max
that fleur-de-lis is amazing.i wouldn't want to root for a team called the Newor'linzcroffish tho. and that crawfish is a little too cartoony.
