Nick 1733
I honestly don't see the problem. The standard flex fit hats always fit me, I always buy a 2XL/54 jersey and they fit just fine (and I wear 2XL shirts).I just don't see any problems with it... maybe you should buy the larger 'youth' sizes if it's really that much of a problem.everybody is different.Sorry I didn't clarify...I was saying I didn't get the fact that he feels that the sizes are larger than other clothes bought that are tagged as the same size.Like a 2XL jersey is 'bigger' than say a 2XL t-shirt bought a wal-mart.I get the part about the hat and them not making smaller sizes... I was just saying I didn't get the same problem they are with jersey sizes being physically bigger than anything else made that's marked the same size. FiddySicks
The problem has now extended to hats. Every draft cap for the NHL, NBA, and NFL is a Reebok stretch fit for "one size fits all." Well...obviously not. Those stretch hats are made to fit people 7 1/4 and above. I wear a size 7. They left out the 6 7/8 and size 7 market in making these new hats. I've heard they're too tight on size 8 people as well.Pffft, people who wear a size 8? Hell, I wear a 7 1/2 - 7 5/8 depending on the model and an NFL OSFA is too damn small. I have to wear a L/XL for it to look anywhere near decent, but the issue is that it's amazingly rare to find a store that actually stocks em. oakland ehs
As a 7 1/2, a lot of the NFL and NHL hats from Reebok are tight. They fit, but tight. The OSFA draft hats from this year were great, and then the L/XL ones were enourmous. But then came the 2nd season caps (NFL and NHL) and the NHL St. Patty's Day hats and they are very tight.

Large T-shirts are kinda snug around the shoulders on me, but my size L jersey is freakin' HUGE. It's like wearing a tiger-striped tent. My brother wears a 2XL shirt and it fits him. ElwoodCuse
Damn, I wish I had your problem. Wearing a 8 1/8 hat, and needing something in the 3-4 XL range just for the length isn't much fun.Didn't know Kevin Mench posted hereMy hat fit problem is simply New Era's crappy quality control. Their size tags are basically meaningless approximations. And new material my ass, the new 5950 I bought last year STILL SHRUNK. I need to cut some of the tags off the sweatband to make it comfortable again.
DDR
It seems I'm being pushed out of sports related clothing. I've noticed for a long time that jerseys were getting bigger and bigger. I still try to find older style jerseys that I can get in 44 because the NFL doesn't even make anything less than a 48. Thankfully baseball still has stuff for smaller sizes. So it should say one size fits 7 1/4 to 7 3/4.The hats are too big, the jerseys are too big. So now what? I guess I'm just S.O.L. Okay I'm done griping. Grow your hair out poofy. oakland ehs
I've never had THAT big of a problem with New Era's quality control... almost every 7 1/2 I've ever bought has fit fine... and only once have I actually bought a 7 3/8 because it fit exactly the same way.As for the shrinking... how did you wear it? Just wearing it on your head without strenuous use will not shrink it. Showering in it BARELY shrinks it, and I now only do that to try and flatten the crown out a bit. The only way to shrink them is through a ton of sweating, and even at that, it takes a lot. The new hats are MUCH better quality than the old ones, and I need to be dripping in sweat, in the sun, for a couple days to notice any slight shrinkage on the new hats.If your beef is that they shrink even after doing that... well yeah. Anything will. These hats aren't made out of steel.

Apparently small people don't like sports. Actually, I'm thinking of writing a letter to Reebok to find out their reasoning. "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. Athough said artists appear to be wearing said clothing that are tailored a few sizes too big.... Sigs are for sissies.

Can you mention something in your letter in regards to those of us who have been hit with the double-whammy of being both fit AND tall? Sigs are for sissies.
