Until then, all we have to gloat about is the Gulls in the WCHL and the Sockers in the old MISL. It's rather pathetic, especially considering that outside of the current Chargers, we really haven't had any teams that one could say DESERVED to be there let alone win it all.So bring the Gulls to the NHL. Bring the Sockers to the MLS. Bring the Conquistadors back to the NBA and let's see San Diego fill the record books with the worst sports play the world has ever seen. -DanielCheck Out My Podcast! The NFL Champs were still World Champions, representing the highest level of competition at the time.Obviously the AHL wasn't at the NFL's level, it's a different sport.
