Bronxmet
Those same Indians throwback jerseys were worn when Manny Ramirez made his debut and when he and the Tribe got no-hit by Jim Abbott in 1993.
jamdawg1
Those same Indians throwback jerseys were worn when Manny Ramirez made his debut and when he and the Tribe got no-hit by Jim Abbott in 1993.'93 was the last season that the Tribe played in the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium. (And the last year for those unis.) They changed to the "Script Logos" unis when they moved to Jacobs Field. (Now Progressive Field. But I still call it "The Jake".) Frylock
The movie jerseys are incorrect. The Indians of that era used standard MLB Block. Not only that, but the AL umpire caps are wrong, too...
eSabre
So, Hiroshi "Kamikaze" Tanaka, recently of the Tokyo Giants, knocks himself cold for the second time this week. Maybe in Japan, that's actually better than catching the ball. Personally, I think he's just trying to get out of the lineup.
tmorss9
I know the umpire caps once had the "AL" side by side, but I don't remember if the letters touched or not. And I can't see that ump's cap quite well enough to see what it really looks like. "Hats for bats. Keep bats warm. Gracias"
