A report today also added Kobe to the list of those considering playing a season in Europe. All this talk of starts going overseas needs to stop.

Why? And is it okay when Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol and others play in the US? If so, why?

You are making an interesting point...inadvertently.

Are the European NBA Stars interested in going back home? One would think they'd be among the first to want to return to Europe if the money is there.

I'm not saying this is true. I believe the perception is that they are leaving Europe to play in "The BEST Professional League"... the NBA. Who really knows if that's true? Our US teams don't typically have much fun in any International competition.

I think the peception is that Nowitzki, Gasol, Ginobli and others have come here for money and for what is said to be a more talented league.

I'm starting to wonder if this is what Stern had in mind with this European Expansion talk. Once these NBA teams lose high profile players to Europe... I think the talks would heat up for an NBA European Division.

The comments are hilarious. Shows how much North Americans truly know about global sports. No offense to North Americans but when it comes to Sports, in terms of fan passion, culture, history and money, Europe trumps America easily.

don't forget South America also beats North America in fan passion, culture and history

Well...I admit we don't start wars over soccer games, if that's what you are getting at.
