And so this week at school I was doodling during German class, and lo and behold, I sketched the rough draft of a logo that I thought would be perfect for the Oilers.It turns out I may have been influenced subconsciously bya logo I may have seen before.However, believe me when I say I did not purposely rip off the above linked-to logo, and I believe I came up with a simpler, nicer logo (more consistent with Edmonton's logo history) using the Oilers better colour scheme.Without further adieu, I present my Edmonton Oilers Alternate Concept Logo.Suggestions, comments, and criticisms (preferably constructive) are all welcome.**Sorry about the link having not worked. I was planning to do a third using the logo myself, and still might, but I must say I like Roger Clemente's third concept very much.The logo as a shoulder patch on the current home and away jerseys would look better with out the white drop highlight spot, to match the drop on the primary logo.Thanks again, Danke vielmals.Any other suggestions, comments, criticisms?
