Those look great... what I like most about your concepts is that they look good and they look realistic at the same time. I could really see the teams suiting up for a game and wearing those jerseys.

I've been toying with 2007, and while there's an extra step in the process, it's really not that hard.

EXCEPT for the Letters and Numbers which need to be in a separate flei, which I just can't be bothered with (... yet ...)

It may be worth picking up, there are a couple of very sweet templates availble for it, and the in-game resolution is very good. Especially faces...

My biggest problem is, my system can't really handle any of the newer games. lol My computer was "decent" 7 or 8 years ago when I bought it... now... it gets me by.

I forgot about that... I just remember upgrading my optical drive from CD-Rom to DVD exactly for that....

Thanks a lot. I'll probably do some updates or upgrades in the future, play around with stuff. Maybe get a little wild, who knows.

I haven't even done that. lol My computer (aside from maxing out the memory) is pretty much as it was the day I bought it, save for having the latest service packs and what not. One of these days I'll upgrade. But who knows when that day will come. :P

Wow, that's awesome! I didn't know you could put custom jerseys into a game like that.

And on a side-note, I like the striping you used on the Coyotes alt, and the home and aways for Phoenix are some of my favourites.

How hard is it for you to put your home-made jerseys into the game like that?

Well I do these for NHL 2002 format. From what I've heard it's a little harder with the newer games. Everything after 2004 or 2005.

in my opinion 2001-2003 was the last great period in game modding the nhl series. i modded the hell out of my nhl 2002 before my computer had a heart attack and stroke all in one. now i have nhl 2k8 to keep me busy.

Absolute same thing happened to me. Probably because of all the gay porn. That'll save the jokes. But I got killed by some crazy virus that kept shutting off and rebooting my PC. It'd get to some black screen of death, then reboot. Couldn't save it. Now I'm a lunatic when it comes to backing up files. My silly little uniforms are one thing to lose, but all of the music I've recorded is another.

As for 01-03 being the last great period in game modding, I completely agree. It was easy, you could access nearly everything, it was fun. I mean, isn't that what makes a game great? Not it's ability to be modded so much, but it's "freshness" and "replayability." So if you can get in there quick and easy, mod some stuff, suddenly it's like having a brand new game. Update rosters on your own, etc... riiiight. EA wouldn't want that, would they? One game you could just keep playing. Figures. /raging semi... rant

oh hell for the longest before my computer died, nhl 02 was more uptodate than some of the newer releases at the time. Cyber-nhl, thunderpuck, doubleminor downloads, nhldepot were all my one stop collective for roster/uniform/logo/face pack updates, fantasy jerseys and retro packs. Most importantly i used the international teams and overwrote them with defunct teams like the North Stars, Whalers, Jets, Nordiques, Rockies, Scouts, Barons, Seals, Flames etc.

It was a really fun and amazing time for NHL gaming and addons. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it, but times change I suppose.
