Great work ColorWerx but one thing......."Houston 1836."

That part of their history might have only lasted 1 month, but it is still a well-documented part of their brief history.

See my previous post.

I have a TON of official MLS logos in vector form, but not ALL of them.

To address both your post and AsM2931's post - my information comes from an official sheet dated 01/25/2008. I have no idea if things have changed in the last year, or if this official sheet has errors.
yeah, it may well be that that secondary still acts as a placeholder in the league-produced stylesheet. I can assure you it and the "wing" wordmark logo have been taken out of use by the club since 2006. The "wing" wordmark continued to appear on some league-approved merchandise that the Fire never saw in 2007, but that ended last year.

As for the shirt wordmark, I'm sure the league stylesheet is in error. Even the Fire don't fully acknowledge the substantial alteration the mark went through between 2005 and 2006. adidas unilaterally changed it and it stuck, though admittedly it is better visually and easier to reproduce. In any case, I'm not surprised if it is listed as 1997/8-present; but if so it's incorrect.

FYI, if needed I have the Houston 1836 stylesheet.

Hey ColorWerx,

Do you ever remember seeing a Wizards logo with an actual wizard with the "wizards" wordmark and a cauldron in the background? I've seen it twice, but never at a size bigger than a thumbnail...

I've looked all over for it, so I was curious if it was ever on any of the official style guides....

I have a vague memory of that one as well, but unfortunately, I don't have it.

Donovan, I think you meant to put it as 1996.

Yeah I did. Oopsy-daisy. Fixed now.

Moving on...

There was a couple of minor color changes to the Wizards' identity between 1999 and 2000.

Kansas City Wizards - 2000 through 2007, Primary Logo:

Note the use of the ROYAL Blue (instead of the lighter Blue) for the wordmark.

This current color scheme is somewhat of a nightmare for me. They use Cobalt Blue, Indigo and Pure Yellow on the uniforms, but I have never really gotten clear confirmation on the Pantones. The two marks above came from an official logosheet, so I feel very confident that they are correct. However, I have also seen examples of the primary logo with the older, lighter Blue, and another one with a Yellow outline/keyline around it.
