CS85
http://espn.go.com/espnw/BRISTOL, Conn. -- ESPN has launched its new Web site for women.ESPNW debuted as a blog Monday. A larger site aimed at female fans and athletes will go up in the spring.Guest contributors will include snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler, WNBA stars Tamika Catchings and Diana Taurasi, soccer's Julie Foudy, softball's Jessica Mendoza and swimmer Summer Sanders. The "W" thing is kind of...I dunno. The site itself is sort of imbalanced between women's sports and female reporters. I'm guessing the spring site update will have more fleshing out. chuckymack
Holy crap. I had no idea McDonald's had a separate website aimed at black people. Sigs are for sissies.
KennyRock
Be much more interested to see what the full site looks like. The current blog site looks very incomplete, even for a blog. I also think there had to be a more creative way to incoporate a "W" than tacking on a curvy one to the end of the current espn wordmark. infrared41
Holy crap. I had no idea McDonald's had a separate website aimed at black people. That site is real???Anyway, on topic: I'm all for women's sports being promoted etc. but "ESPNW" seems a little patronizing to women. The_Admiral
I bet "PMSN" didn't even make it out of committee. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
HedleyLamarr
They got their priorities in order...divorce court and women's basketball. Lord knows those stories aren't getting any hits on the main site.If the 4-letter netowrk had a sense of humor, they'd have drawn a couple aereolas in the "W".....
