I'm not really a fan of the grey on the shield either - I just don't think it's necessary.I agree with the inclusion of the maple leaf. Without it, I would have no idea that this is a Canadian club.I know there have been many arguments on these boards about the apparent need to include a maple leaf in every logo for a Canadian team, and while I usually side with those who say it isn't necessary, I think it might in this case, if only because the fact it's in London, Ont., and there's a St. George's cross in the shield already might lead to some confusion.
